Lifelong Warhammer fan Bricky and grimdark greenhorn Dkdiamantes delve into the incredibly vast ocean that is Warhammer 40000 lore. From superhuman space warriors to depraved cultists and green-skinned Mad Max rejects, not even the most ridiculous aspects of this setting are off the table for these two mad men. Развлечения
How Shy has managed to get thru 3 years is beyond me well done that woman
I always just assumed that she just drinks her way through it. We would never know.
She haa Vtuber Resolution and Patience.
ALOO Thanks for the mention!
& for sharing your thoughts and feelings about the VTUBER TAKEOVER ;)
Bricky is our lord and savior, our shepherd guiding us into the distant future ....
The cross over makes a lot of sense! VTubers tend to be into gaming/fantasy and very often gunpla.
Most VTubers probably played a warhammer game or two ( think Darktide/Vermintide )
Also my first love was the Necrons! I'm slowly expanding that repertoire and liking the Chaos Armies of Tzeentch and Nurgle :)
Of course Tyranids are amazing too hehe
Cheers~
Your reactions have been awesome!
ALOO
Wow matara complimenting bricky? Times really have changed
The fact that Bricky remembers my stupid “on key one” model I made based off of someone’s art about their joke is genuinely heartwarming I feel so happy about this thank you
Fav ep is still the alpharius ep. The twist mid ep, with DK freaking out was just sick 😂
Same here, alpha legion ftw
It's a pity it's hard talking around that episode, since alot of lorebeards loving twisting and taking a certain quote out of context to render the entire Alpharius book as non-canon that never happened.
@@HideyoshiKinoshita84 the alpha legion isn't real its just alpharius and a bunch of paid actors I swear
Heh, actors from Baki@@nogo6880
That one was really cool!
Bricky the ferryman needs to be the next poster
Banging his head on the exceptionally high ceiling.
Sanguinor vs Angron - the final battle of the red angels
Tau'va vs Angron - the pantheon of order is announced with a mercy-kill
Silent King vs Angron - a god-killer does something for once
Leviathan vs Angron - stopping the hive fleet took unexpected sacrifices
Sons of Malice vs Angron - the GW legal team cannot elaborate
Sly Marbo vs Angron - AAAAAAAAARGH!!!
It would be really funny if Angron was forced into becoming a daemon-possessed piece of armor, or a shield. something that could be around violence but not ever cause it.
i could see the Sanguinor killing Angron and then being revealed as the soul of Sanguinius finishing what he started at the Siege of Terra.
another i could see is Skarbrand, attempting to return to Korne's favor through an epic throwdown with Angron.
A lucid Demon Angron and Gulliman team up to kill Lorgar and the only way to finish it is for Robute to stab through a lucid Angron. Lorgar is betrayed and undone by a warp entity, Angron goes out getting his revenge and Robute is left with only guilt and asking question of if there was a better way
Sanguinor and Mephiston tag team
It was really nice that we got the mention from the podcast that inspired ours. Thank you, Adeptus Ridiculous crew. Please keep being entertaining and informative on the lore of 40k. The small crew of CMKJ wishes you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. 🎉
Bricky: "I do love a good old plasma pistol. It doesn't hurt."
Sir, my hazardous checks would like to have a word with you...
nothing brings a smile to my face like rolling 3 1s on my Khorne Berzerkers
*THREE* *FREAKING* *YEARS*
Happy Holidays, Shy. Emperor know the cringe levels of shitposting you had to endure in editing this lol and Ive yet to even see it
If i were to describe the episode as a person, I'd say it was just a little guy.
Poor little shy
just watched. ending was shitposting. luvit
@@Andre3kshe's just a little shy
@@Sir_Bucketshe's just a little little shy, just a little shy its just that just a little tiny small quiet shy i have never heard say a word.
Happy anniversary, 3 years in the making. I gotta say, going through all of college, listening to these every Wednesday, has been great. I've also secondarily gained the ability to recall formulas and principles I've been taught via remembering what topic I listened to that week. A toast for another year to come!
28:46 - I LOVE the Can Mayonnaise Kill a Jedi podcast. It really is AdRic for Star Wars fans and it makes me sad they've been putting out quality content and top tier episodes for months now with a lot of obscurity. I hope y'all mentioning them gives them a bigger audience closer to the one they deserve!
Hope it does! Thank you for the mention! -CMKJ Cohost
The lightbulb question got me thinking, what would happen if you tried to explain "planned obsolescence" to a tech priest? I assume violence but...
Brilliant milestone. Huge congratulations to everyone involved in Adeptus Ridiculous! Rock on.
If the final end of Angron was a slaanesh vs khorne match with Fulgrim vs Angron I'd be happy tbh and itd be satisfying if Angron did some kill but died in the process to finally get their death by combat they're rightfully owed
On Tonight's episode of the Ridiculous Tour:
Bricky journeys to the Black Library to get the answers!
DK IS ALPHARIUS
And Shy will be answering your questions by semaphore!
All that to come, after these messages!
Now all I want is a Vtuber collab where it’s just ‘Prof. Bricky’ teaching a bunch of random anime people about ‘British war game’
There are enough VTubers reacting to his content to do this now.
@@Tortle-Man Imagine: Matara and her tyranid army vs Zentraya and her Mechanicus
Tabletop-time with DK, Bricky and Shy. A mini series looking at your 3 favourite models from each faction, how they play and what fun combos you would use them for. Could be done in the form of shorts. I'd watch it... then again, shorts take more work than most people realize...
Also, good job on reaching 3 years. Really like this channel, I mean it.
I saw all the year's art at 0:40 and now I badly want Adeptus Ridiculous to release a calendar. I would buy the hell out of one if they did.
35:00 I think infinite and the divine would be a great anime. It's more of a comedy style, but it would be fantastic. I love the idea of Orikan having anime style faces.
I've spent my whole last relationship listening to your podcast. What more can I say: bitches are temporary, imperium is eternal ❤
2 relationships have come and gone, ridiculous is 4eva
It would be a really fun bonus stream or something to have Bricky sit down with DK and actually teach him how to play the actual tabletop wargame
The Cain books would make the best Anime, Change my Mind.
Happy Anniversary everyone! Have a great Christmas weekend! 😊
I want see a short story now with an ad mech trying to track down one specific arcane model of light bulb to replace the one that broke in Bellisarius Cawl’s bathroom.
Congratulations on 3 years! This is my favorite podcast! Never stop!!
Honestly, Magnus killing Angron out of mercy could be such a good story. Maybe Magnus, using his psychic abilities, finally feels the pain Angron is in. Having visions of his time with the fellow gladiator slaves and the emperor refusing to safe them. The endless torment of the butchers nails and the never ending suffering. Magnus establishes a psychic link to Angron in which he finally sees beyond the rage. He sees Angron as a broken man, maybe even crying, without his demon form. He sees the man he was 10.000 years ago, with his aura of compassion that lessens the burden of his fellow gladiators. His courage to do whatever to survive.
Tzeentch then gives Magnus the option to kill his brother, to finally end his suffering or return his legion to their human form. To end the thousand sons rubricae spell and finally rid them of these dust automatons.
This way Tzeentch wins in both ways. If he chooses to kill angron. He gets to make Khorne very fucking angry, which he probably thinks is very funny. If Magnus saves the legion, the amount of spells they can sling and demons they summon will ofc help him in the great game.
Also the moral dilemma for Magnus is fantastic:
- If he saves the legion, Angron will know that Magnus has denied him the one thing he has craves for thousands of years, death. And Angron is not the kind of guy to forgive and forget. He will summon his legion and the thousand sons will be hunted down and butchered. They may have their bodies back, but they will never be safe again. They cannot even hide in the warp, as Angron will not rest until Magnus, and every thousand son, is dead.
- If he kills Angron, every world eater will go bezerk. The loss of their dad tips them over the edge. All emotions but anger are gone. The thousand sons are slaughtered by the bezerkers, kharn, juiced up by khorne out of pure fucking anger, personally challenges magnus. And every sorcerer that is left in the legion is now hunted by blood hounds and Magnus can't even help them. For every single one curses on the name of him. He had a change to return the legion to it's former glory and he denied it, he betrayed them. It is a slight Ahriman and the other sorcerers will never forget.
Man...I cannot believe that it's already been 3 years...I have so much to say, say much to be greatful to this podcast for. But I'll just sum it up into a sincere Thank you. Thank you all for what you do from the bottom of my heart
This is the best thumbnail yet
An Among Us game with everyone named Alpharius sounds like it would be a blast
I can't believe I've been here for three years. Genuinely feels like its only been a year since yall started. Here's hopin for another 3!
Happy Anniversary you three! Thank for another system-shocking, head-lopping, mind -bending year! Made things a bit more bearable for me at least. And Merry Squigmas 😊
Thanks for another year of wonderful content, here is looking forward to next year and what madness you bring
I've been watching since the very beginning with the death corps its so great to see how far you guys have come and all the amazing art you guys make
Dark Angels would be a good second choice for poster boys
Like the Ultramarines, they're varied in specialties, they just do things more segmented.
Also they're the 1st Legion, so it thematically makes sense
However Bricky (despite biases), made a good point for Guardsmen and Sisters of Battle
I mean they kind of were in 6th edition for the Dark Vengeance starting box
and were also on the cover art for the rulebook at the time
Kharn killing angron would be a fitting death for him as it would be the favoured son ending his father's suffering
Happy Holidays, DK, Bricky and Shy! Cheers to three years of Adric and may there be many more!
Man, it's great, I started watching y'all at the start of my game art bachelor and almost 3 years later I have almost finished it, and god damn did you accompany me during my warhammer/home-school journey.
thanks a lot team
Congratulations on three years! Y'all actually got me into 40k, I've been listening since the first Ork episode. Good luck and I hope you get to do this show for many years to come. 😊
I discovered you guys maybe about 8-10 months into season 1 and I've been hooked ever since. I've been using your podcasts to help introduce a friend of mine into the setting and if I'm having a bad mental health night I can always turn on an episode of AdRic to help my mind not go down the rabbit hole that are my darker thoughts. Love you guys, your episodes are the highlights of my Wednesdays, I always look forward to them,a nd I can't wait for more. Shy is our queen of memes behind the scenes, D.K. go outside of your goddamn house and touch some grass, Bricky has a very small penis, and Kirioth is just a lovely English chap.
I was here from the first necrom episode. I'm so happy to see these little guys having grown.
Thank you for this 3 years of ridiculus lore, you gave me the courage to try painting, love you guys ✌️
Much love to the Ad Ric team, you all have made work commutes more enjoyable and helped introduce loads of folks to the hobby! Happy anniversary and I can’t wait to see what y’all do in 2024 :)
to answer the question of "whats in store for the future of 40k?" i feel a quote from the final ep of tts is quite poignant: "in the grim darkness of the 41st millennium there can be no VICTOR."
Happy holidays everyone, lookin forward to more status quo lol
For Angron, I'd really like another vision of Sanguinius where he and the Emperor collectively work to kill Angron, in a way that gives him peace but also backfires to hurt Khorne a little bit.
Ever since Sanguinius heard Angron begging for death, that's who I want to end his suffering.
a whole class breakdown of imperial navy ships would be cool. Also a fan art contest with your own rogue trader customized ship would be pretty dope. 2 for 1 riding the rogue trader hype (?) and it being extremely customizable with xeno tech.
Happy anniversary. I thankful for the entertaining niche content Adeptus ridiculous produces such as the IAMATANK IAMATANK IAMATANK short.
I do miss the art contest, although I didn’t win it was so cool to see everyone’s amazing works and it pushed me to go out of my comfort zone to draw mechs. Happy Holidays everybody!✨
I feel like the first 3 Horus Heresy novels would make a great anime. They have just about everything.
Oh my, to think 3 years I've been watching Adeptus Ridicolous that long. Well I got to say, I enjoyed watching every episode from the beginning and having fun learning new characters, factions, stories and other stuff from Warhammer 40k + Detective Ridicolous being a pleasant surprise and also I'm still eager for future vids. I thank you very much Bricky, Dk, Shy and everyone else involved in Adeptus Ridicolous for solidifying my joy and spark of interest for this grim dark and silly universe of a game! 3 cheers for y'all 3rd anniversary for this lovely podcast, and for more future vids, Merry Christmas / Happy New year / Happy Holidays everyone, may it be a good time!
Happy anniversary, AdRic! Here's to many more years of lore & memes
Wonderful edit Shy and a fun episode boys. Thanks. Looking forward to Da Big Dakka.
49:59 I'd say Da Orkz for Da Postah Boyz. Surely, the Mad Max football hooligan brutally kunnin Ork Boyz have to be the single most unique faction in the entire setting.
48:07 gasgul mag urukthraka!!!! He’s avenging his imperial buddy!
A plan 3 years in the making… *Snatches your jeans*
Well with over 217k subs, it's no longer just a little warhammer or general podcast and I love it and all of yourselves and your work! xo :D
Ciaphas Cain would be an amazing Anime protagonist.
Favorite podcast! Glad to be part of this legion.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY
That Tom and Jerry edit of Shy at 11:20 had me laughing me arse off, love it 😆
The Infinite and the Divine would be an incredible Anime. Necrons would work super well in an anime I think.
Congrats on the anniversary 🎉
I remember the Necron video you guys did was one of the first I watched back in uhh early 2021, maybe mid? I had just hurt my ears and have been losing hearing since quite drastically so in a way it's been a strange relationship I've had with your podcast and content, and my own ability to follow along. Well I'm glad you guys are still going strong and I aim to watch your content for as long as my disability allows. Thank you for the years of content and hour long moments of escape from my otherwise unfortunate existence. Praise the Emperor and his holy light for allowing you two to do what you do :)
Congrats on 3 years guys, it's been a fun ride.
Been here from the beginning if I recall I absolutely love this podcast it made me get into warhammer with necrons now im already neck deep in this hobby thanks to all of you it's been great. The merch is great tho sadly I haven't gotten myself to get something since the shipping is killing me 😂
Happy anniversary, yall.. i kinda wish they would have baldormort as their gues hes another warhammer 40k love his narrator voice
So I've been sick and rebinging since the very first episode and it's so fun to see the change in editing and shy embracing the shitposting and memes since the first couple
I didnt start watching because i thought i wouldnt learn anything about 40k but the animations got me curious and gave it a shot. Surprisingly, i ended up learning things about 40k
Happy holidays boys, three whole years and still going strong
Outside of a Primarch, I would be down for Kharne being the one to kill Angron.
Happy anniversary guys you've all earned it
8:08 I love the concept of a satiable reason. It's not a ravenous reason, it's just a satiable reason.
Congratulations on the 3 year anniversary!
Three years running and let's keep it going!!!
Thank you for all your amazing content. I lost my brother 2 weeks ago and have just been rewatching my favorite episodes since I got a little time of school
I'm sorry for your loss man.
Damn I want the high res of the thumbnail. Imagine if Rogue Trader had the production quality, cut scenes and full voice of bg3
Matara Kan is not ready. But DK is ready for a reaction video watching TTS ep 1. With bricky explaining all the references and easter eggs
If there is a big war at the "End" of 40k, im gonna be waiting for the moment Dante protects the emperor, because my boy needs a reason for living rn.
I too, use Monument brushes and couldn’t be happier
As someone who *watches* the 5h videos and podcasts of DND plays n such, if you DO play a tabletop RPG please record it
People deff watch, plus also that's 5h per person of monetized media
Happy 3rd anniversary!! 🎉
3 years! Lets go!!!
Lol@Bricky: "No."
I remember the announcement of the podcast and the first episode coming out, having been a fan of both bricky and warhammer for some time before made them both hype as fuck
RE: Angron's death - instead of having him blasted by a major player or primarch, I think it would be really narratively pleasing to have him at the end of some long, drawn out battle where he's sent untold numbers of souls to Khorne, he's bleeding and broken, but not _quite_ bad enough to send him back to the Immaterium. He comes across a lone Guardsman, armed with nothing but a power sword. They exchange some dialog, the Guardsman says something about being pressed into Guard service (perhaps a Penal Legion?), never wanting to be there in the first place. Angron, tired and weary from the battle, asks the Guardsman to strike him, to send him back to the Immaterium and to rest...however, the power sword is an ancient relic that the Guardsman klep'ed from a corpse. Instead of returning Angron to his torment, it severs his soul completely, giving him the final death he's so longed for.
A tortured slave, a product of circumstance and other's bloodlust, brought down by a slave of the Imperium, not by some great and powerful foe, but another being just waiting for their death and release from the life they've been pressed in to. A death not in the midst of raging battle, but in the desolation of the aftermath...
ive watched 3 episodes of "Can mayonnaise kill a Jedi podcast" and gotta say yall should check them out they got a real nice chemistry on the crew, super funny and its fascinating digging into unknown star wars lore, go show'em some love if you like Adeptus Ridiculous you'll like "Can mayonnaise kill a Jedi"
It been a great three years with you doods
“Orange County wedding” legit true saw that happening with that song not that long ago lol
3 years fly by when we’re having this much fun
Asassinorum kingmaker would make the best anime. Literally has space ninjas in it
I would actually love to see an episode about how the lore translates into the rules. I don't play the tabletop (too expensive) but I'd still like to learn, and watching DiceCheck only does so much because I still find myself confused while entertained.
Also happy 3 years, patiently waiting for the Leman Russ, Space Wolves, and the Months of Shame episodes.
you might like PancreasNoWork and his Do or Don't series. he covers tabletop pros and cons and the lore pros and cons on characters and factions
I've waited patiently for a T-sons anything since it was DK's favorite when he didn't know anything, now he knows a good amount but still nothing on T-sons so is picking favorite factions again
Please don't let our special boy become a loyalist just because they don't know the darker powers 🙏
Wasn't saying anything for 3y because I don't wanna be a bother but i was excited to hear DK learn about mine and his fav faction while his wonder and whimsy for 40k is still fresh(ish ;P)
Love all you guy's work, y'all are legends
I kid you not, I joined the stream and first thing I hear is DK saying clussy. Gotta love AdRic! :)
Very festive with the Christmas spirit as of 12/20/2023
For the Light bulb; It takes 7 orks to make it work. 1 to say it's a glowy thing, 1 to ask will it kaboom, 2 to say well maybe it will glow and perhaps kaboom, 3 to say da first ork said it's glowy so yeah, 4 of dem hit da dirt, 2 are no longer der, 1 is covered in ash, an a nearby mekboy says let's do dat again. A tech Priest says, well the orks made it work so...?! The Imperialis Administratum advisor says the Machine Spirit obviously is at work.
38:30 brother I've seen the Alpharius a million times, the scola progenium is amazing as well
Happy Sanguinalia!🎉
Another year, another torture for Shy.
Also, @Bricky, thanks for the review on Vampire Survivors on your channel, got me into a game that got me back into gaming. Halfway between OG Gauntlet and a Roguelike, it got me to play games again. Thanks, and to another good year for everyone involved with the channel!
> "I don't know if that would work for like a... like a... podcast episodes or whatever..." said DK.
> Magistratum Mundanus: *exists*
To add to the anime question, Infinite and the Divine would be a great anime to do.
Especially the ending
Love the channel let’s go
