Grid-Natics I agree man. Those uniforms were super clean. Same with the Seahawks uniforms. I think the NFL overthinks designs. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The Raiders, Chiefs, Steelers and Cowboys have gotten it right and will most likely never change uniforms. I also wish the NFL brings back NFL equipment logo on the jerseys and the NFL equipment gloves. But that’s just me I guess.
@@leeirorere2472 a lot of these teams started to change uni's in the mid to late 90's for no reason I guess when teams started to get them branding deals like nike Adidas and puma thats when they wanted to get fancy.
Grid-Natics I agree with you. It’s a shame. A few teams like the Browns and Buccaneers went back to the basics but man I wish I could say the same for the rest of the NFL. I’m just not a fan of these new uniforms. Same with the NBA.

Maybe every fan feels this way because they always watch their team play, but I swear as a Hawks fan we've had some incredible games by way of controversy and pure unprecedented events.
And weirdly enough most happen against the packers.

You must also remember that back in the ealry 80's, Hawks were doing fake FG's and scoring until the league made the refs call a Procedure penalty saying it had "..a intent to deceive". Also the the Vinnie Testaverde "touchdown" where he was no where near as close to the endzone as Dysonin the SB...the list goes on...I say it's about time!
It’s not just you that thinks this. I’m not a Seahawks fan and I feel this way about the Seahawks too. Feels like something strange might happen when I tune into a Seahawks game.
Kind of like how when I watch a Bears game I know they always seem to score on turnovers and special teams. Been that way for decades, doesn’t matter the coach, the scheme or the players.
Boy, I sure do miss THOSE Atlanta Falcons uniforms!

Seattle re-joined the NFC West in '02 after the debut of the Houston Texans, leading to a division realignment from 6 to 8 divisions (4 each for the AFC & NFC) 👍💯

Dilfer & Hasselbeck were competing for the starting position. Seahawks of 2001 wasn't so bad,either. Seattle could've made the playoffs if they win (they did) and expecting either KC & Baltimore to lose. Both teams won,but there was hope for Seattle going into the 2002 season. First year in the NFCW from the AFCW,too.

I disagree, first, he couldn’t stay healthy and second, he never had the supporting cast he needed in Atlanta. The NFL is not like the NBA where you can win championships with one star.

Wow, watching this I didn't realize how slow and lethargic our defenses were back then, especially thr secondary, as compared to now! I mean this defense made Hasselback look like an all pro MVP! This secondary was always a day late and a dollar short in coverage and tackling.
The new Falcons would've gotten st least five turnovers from pass attempts. Not to mention, they wouldn't have let Hasselback breath in the pocket.
Just goes to show how much the NFL has changed and how much faster the players are today as compared to 28 years ago lol.

The Georgia Dome hosted NCAA Football games (specifically the SEC Championship a week prior and the Peach Bowl 2 weeks later). Hash marks for college and pros are different.

You have to remember, quarterbacks(like Lamar Jackson, Russell Wilson)have entire offenses designed around them, unfortunately the playbook/play calling had a small amount of plays built around Micheal Vicks style. He had to adjust to a limited offensive gameplan and then would have to quickly improvise and use his instincts when a play started breaking down.

Back when NFL uniforms were actually good. Seahawks with the two tone uniforms that changed color with the light. And the classic Black on Grey Falcons uniform with the simple serious looking Falcon logo. Not the Batman Beyond looking shit they have now
