I can’t say what exactly I like about this movie. Obviously, it looks like an ancient one, with all these filming features, music setting but all in all, I love the general idea of pure kindness and unconditional love towards both animals and people coming from Jenny girl. That would be so wonderful if there were more people like her character living on Earth nowadays…surprisingly, I enjoyed the melody and songs, everything is put in harmony in the movie, the characters are pretty well chosen and matched. I can’t say a bad word about the team job, I just can’t. Thank you for the upload!

A very captivating movie that brought together a young loving girl with a struggling mare who just needed to be teamed up with a caring and loving girl like Jenny Grey. I would highly recommend this movie for those who are looking for one that brings out the best in people.

@@JDMaya Movie was filmed in 1977 in Melbourne. Had to look up date as I’ve never seen this movie before, but knew it was Melbourne as I live here. Faces of old actors and places of older Melbourne I remember, probably because I’m oldish lol

Family members can be difficult at times. While I wasn’t sent to boarding school. My father’s family isolated me from everyone. I wasn’t allowed to see or visit anyone. My father refused to see me, or talk to me for over 40 years. We spoke briefly prior to his death. When he said he took me out of his WILL. Which I replied, I wasn’t expecting anything. So, it’s no loss. That was it.
I first watched this movie in the 70s and haven't seen it for nearly 45 years. It brought back lots of memories. Great shots of 70s Melbourne and Caulfield Racecourse with old Guineas Stand and the old track at Epsom. Also great song. Lovely movie with so many familiar faces.

I think there are so many horses that just want an honest human connection, and don’t get that. Hopefully people realize it, and resolve to do better. We can learn to understand the horse.🥰
@tsiviab2999 The sad thing is in the racing world. Race horses are treated like rubbish. To owners and trainers, they are machines. My son had been riding since he could sit up. He decided to become a jockey so trained with the Nothern racing collage. It broke his heart the way they were treated, especially when he had been bought up to love horses.

Great movie, I love horses but my mom kept me away from them. Biggest regret of my life, got married way too young and life gets in the way. My advice to anyone who has a passion like I had go for it you won’t be disappointed, my time is gone.❤
Your time Is never gone. Not until you are 6ft under. I loved horses too finally got my own but since loggers took my fences down, and another gott more lumber not getting a thing in return I cannot even put in cattle or horses or goats unless I pay someone to rewire my place. to old to do it myself. with no funds , everyone say they will come fix problems, but do not!

Like this movie reminds me of back in my day love working on the farm when i was young riding horses work around the farm training horse racing with other people with there horses
Jenny Gray was just the young lady to team up with a wayward mare named Blue fire Lady. It's a wonderful caring story that I and I hope you enjoy watching.
The horse at the end show jumping is not the same horse in the racing yard. Different blaze on the forehead and the race horse has a white sock on it off side hind leg.
That was a surprise!!! I had no idea I was going to be watching an Australian movie with a English main actress!! I just had trouble understanding the trainer of blue fire lady!!! And trouble understanding a bit of the other dialogue also! They talked too fast or the sound wasn’t that great perhaps?! When was this made?! Seems like a few years back!
Had a horse as kids. Rode like a jack hammer on concrete, but every kid dreams of having a horse. Course he lost points with my dad by sticking his big rear against the fences, leaned against them, and rubbed his rear. This gave the fences this bulge where he'd stretched them out. Dad wasn't very happy with him.

Thank goodness it was only a movie. Here in Melbourne Aus where I live if any jokey or stable hand treated a horse like that they would be instantly reprimanded and dismissed. Quite a few old Melbourne actors in the movie. Strange, I’ve never seen this movie before. It was a joy to watch.
