Wow, that's not much change for a what seems to be a lot of gain. You haven't even stripped the interior. I guess it all comes down to the modified Tipo head making all the difference really - but not being mechnically minded, I don't know how much of a difference in terms of what the technical details would be compared to the original 1500 head, etc. Can you mention th etechincal differneces? And did you remove the big 1500 bumpers and replace them with the 1300 Euro bumpers - or no bumpers at all? Is the exhaust system unmodified? Original seats or ultra lightnracing seats? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just really curious! Either the few minor mods you've made have made a massive difference - or all those other cars are driving very conservatively - which is possible I guess, as they seem to all be privately owned classics just out for a fun and, I'm assuming, non-competition drive. Well Toby, the car is actually a 1300 but with 1500cc and 5speed and the other stuff. As I said, reduced weight e.g. plastic rear window, original 1300 bumpers with alloy brakets and without the rubber bumpers, 6kg battery and so on. Engine with Tipo head (big and lightened intake valves, higher CR), twin webers, sports exhaust...Uno Turbo brakes

Did it take you long to find Uno Turbo brakes? I can't find any and I've been looking for months :(
Well, I bought and reconditioned them in the late 90s...
