Tip for everyone who needs LOADS of gold bars (for crystalariums for example) fast & easy without having to struggle with the skull caverns: Buying gold ore from Clint is super expensive, BUT I found a way to buy gold bars really cheap! You need a few deconstructors from Qi's walnut room for this to work. Then you buy loads of treasure hunters from Willy. They only cost 750g and give TWO whole gold bars each if you put them into the deconstructors!! With only 5 deconstructors you can get 100+ gold bars a day because the deconstructors are ready every hour. The only annoying thing is that the treasure hunter doesn't stack. So go shopping with an empty inventory and put some chests next to your deconstructors to fill them up with the treasure hunters. I don't know if this tip may be widely known but I haven't seen it anywhere and for me it was a gamechanging discovery!
In reference to treasure floors in the Skull Caves, I went on a good luck day, drank some ginger ale and ate some magic rock candy, and at one point encountered 7 consecutive treasure floors, two of which spawned prismatic shards! My gf and I were blown away, I had also procured about 8 Prismatic shards by the end of the day :)

A tip I found out today and tested so it still works- Is if you already have the iridium statue fill your inventory with anything- go up to your statue and break it. It'll stay on the floor thanks to the full inventory (Do not pick it up or place in a chest, this will not work.) Now walk up to Grandpa's statue and interact with it again, you'll be offered the statue again! If you repeat the above process you can basically have an endless supply of the statue.
I’m summer year 2 and literally all of my iridium ore comes from ponds 😅 I tried skull cavern and couldn’t get past one floor without burning through serious food sources! No thank you, not my vibe 😅 That hardwood tip is game changing though!
@@Isabel-oy1mo I've watched a couple of tip videos on collecting iridium, always go on a good luck day and have many many bombs. what's also a GREAT food is cheese! a gold star will give 101 health which is great. a regular gives 56. Also, on sunday you can trade 1 jade for 1 stair at the merchant in the desert. this helped me immensely bc I skipped so many levels to where I was actually getting a decent amount of iridium :) I hated it too but now its bearable oh also lucky lunches are worth it! good luck!
i prefer to eat my cheese rather than that. Gold cheese only sold for 483 gold and it can add 200 energy and 100 health enough to heal almost all your bar

I tend to put rainbow trout in fish ponds, for the chance to give prismatic shards, since Qi's mission to return four of them only requires you to have them.
Here's a tip I discovered for people playing the switch version of Stardew Valley when you have quests and you want to look at them you can push the minus button on the left Joy con and see all the quests that you have
Alongside the Super Cucumber ponds, you can also go panning with high luck. I don't know if it's been fixed in the PC version, but on the Switch, you can reach basically every panning spot by holding down your directional pad in the spot's direction as you use your copper pan. If you can't reach it, then try from a different shore. I get most of my iridium this way because I hate the Skull Cavern, LMAO... with luck rings, luck boosting foods, and a good luck day, you can get a LOT of iridium just by milling around the mountain lake for a while and picking up the panning spots as they spawn. Double up by multitasking with furnaces or other machines, and you end up with a pretty good haul for one day's work!
I sell all my pigs first day of winter and a few days later I buy new ones so by spring they are large. You make 4,800 gold on each one so if you have a barn full that's a profit of 57,600 each year.
5:46 a full barn of ostrich’s at max friendship makes About 890 thousand gold a year. I full barn of pigs at max friendship makes roughly 2.26 million a year. And you do nothing in winter. I think pigs are way better than ostriches.
Statue of perfection can be gathered Multiple times.....get one place it fill your inventory break it you won't pick it up because inventory full go get another one and repeat they stack
I recommend farming haunted skulls in the quarry cave instead of buying them from the merchant with the luck boosts I got 2 of them on the same month I unlocked the quarry! (Edit: I had a neutral day too and I didn't have any luck boost food or items!)
i deff never knew about the secret entrances being able to be opened, i never knew there was another upgrade after getting pam’s house! ( mostly bc i’m new on year 3 summer and haven’t done pans house yet lol ) i’ve never seen any video EVER mention the secret entrances, and i watch a LOT of stardew tips/ videos in general

Guaranteed 21 Golden-Quality Mayo per week per Golden Chicken sells for more than 10 Possibly-Iridium Mayo per week per Ostrich. That, and the Deluxe Coop takes up less farm space than the Deluxe Barn.
Ostriches produce eggs every 7 days. With fully happy ostriches, you can get 10 iridium quality mayos and sell for 5320 gold, which is 760 gold/day. Fully happy pigs produce 4.2 truffles per day with the botanist profession. Truffle oil sells for 1,491 gold, which means a pig will get you 6,262 gold per day in spring-fall, averaging out to 4,696/day if you factor in the off season. So yeah, I'm perfectly happy needing to walk around collecting the truffles to make 6 times the profit. I keep ostriches, dinosaurs, void chickens, and all the rest for fun, not to make money.

Go click on your grandfathers Altar. If you have four candles, you should get the statue of perfection! If you don't have four candles, place a diamond on the altar for a re-evaluation

I fill up the desert with Mahogany trees to farm hardwood. Also about 20 Maple trees for maple syrup to be able to make heaps of bee hives

The Shrine of challenge only becomes available if you complete the Qi Danger in the deep quest in the walnut room (on Ginger Island so v1.5).
