Her earlier stuff was not graphic like this. BiBi is a real sweetheart (so of course some unscrupulous jackhole would have to take advantage). At some point in her career, she ended up being taken advantage of in a massive way by at least one guy in a position of power. For both their sakes, she has not revealed who, and has not said exactly what happened but she has said that if she started naming names, people would go to jail over those events. According to her, it's better for her to do things this way. Music videos like this are basically her therapy, getting all of the fantasy revenge out of her system without actually hurting anybody. She did at least one more video something like this and then moved on to prettier things. Absolutely unhinged for a while, but much better now. She recently did an interview with YoungJi on YoungJi's interview show.
Oh wow that’s awful 🙁 that’s sad she had to do it in videos, that kind of thing is NEVER okay and I completely understand. Thanks for letting me know this
Holy cow I'm shocked - I didn't know kpop videos could be like this. Thank you to the person in the comments who explained what happened to her that helps me understand but oh my gosh I was not expecting this
OH MY GOODNESS DUDE!! YOU REALLY WANT TO TORTURE YOURSELF HUH!? 🤣😂 Bro this whole MV had me just SHOCKED this is one of the goriest Music Videos I've ever seen and I LOVE it- also oh honey you weren't ready for this one were you... also at 3:10 your reaction to her and her Vocals was everything (and same), and then you reacting to her cutting off the guy's head was hilarious (also halfway through I was like "is that KubzScouts? 😆) and then the silence throughout the whole thing and then the reaction to the guitar playing was absolutely amazing and again same! Also you're just getting started because a lot of the girls really like killing off people especially men in their MV's like of course BiBi, Red Velvet, Sunmi, PIXY, Loona, etc. Anyways I can't wait for you to check out more BiBi such as more Music Videos, B - Sides, Live Performances, Covers, Dance Practices, Moments, and of course Ships- I can't wait for more Content from you and I hope that you are doing well and staying safe and healthy Kiana! P.S. If you ever need any good Videos I could totally help you out if you need- also you should DEFINITELY check out more Sunmi I'd recommend either Gashina, Heart Burn, Pporappippam, or Siren next!
An artist being inspired by other art, referencing it and making it their own, and giving credit to the original. Wow, so unheard of! What a shame Bibi is the only one doing this totally unoriginal stuff 🥴
In order for this MV to be a Kill Bill rip-off, it would have to benefit mostly from borrowing original concepts from Kill Bill, and not acknowledging the latter. And, as rip-offs tend to pale in comparison to the original, we would expect Kill Bill to be superior to this video in many ways. Well, we all know Kill Bill and Quentin Tarantino are acknowledged in the credits. And, although the MV clearly benefits from borrowing the O-Ren Ishii tabletop beheading, that is the only place where an original concept is borrowed. Unless you consider the masked men and the one against many fight to be original concepts created solely by Quentin Tarantino-which they’re not. Also recall that the masks serve the ‘false appearances’ narrative relating to Animal Farm. But the truth is, I’m just trolling with you. My last point about a rip-off paling by comparison to the original is all the argument I need. It is Kill Bill that pales in comparison to this MV, for reasons that should be obvious to anyone who compares the two. But I’ll spell it out. The writing talent of Quentin Tarantino hits a wall when it comes to emotional payoff. He simply can’t pull himself out of his head long enough to see where all the opportunities for a well-paced, well-timed emotional climax are squandered by his stubborn tunnel-vision that draws from his intellectual wit. Kill Bill thus plays like a series of short, witty scenes. And then you’ve got this MV. It is 100% on point, building a dramatic high one step at a time. Its soundtrack is lush, indulgent, like a James Bond film’s opening credits. That alone takes this well-orchestrated MV way past the limitations of Kill Bill. Add Bibi’s lyrics and her insane vocals beyond anything Tarantino could ever hope to rip-off in his next film and it’s time to call the humane society (‘cause this dead horse has been beaten into dust). I rest my quesadilla.
She was 🥵 but made me 😵💫 (what did I sign up for)

@@kianatheintrovert Agreed. You are very welcome. :)
I know it is shocking but BiBi's back story is reflected in her MV's. She is a creative genius! Thank you for reacting.

Appears to be a "KILL BILL" rip off, not very original 😏
It’s literally referenced in the credits
