Ymir's arc is really one of the most interesting arcs in SNK. I think this is also one of the things that made SNK unique from other anime, Isayama did not just give depth to the main characters but also to other characters like Ymir.

Unfortunately we anime fans get a lot of hate from people who dislike anime. We get told stuff like "Anime is stupid" "Your so childish why do you still watch those childish shows" and other hurtful things like that. But they don't know what anime is cause they dont care to try something new. However don't let them control your life. You are you and you are free to be whoever you want to be. Don't live a life that someone else forces on you live your own life. And if you friends dont accept the fact that you are who you want to be then they arent worth your time. Live for yourself and choose who you want to be and dont let others control you or your life.
