- This is modified Diecast Racing at the beautiful Shavano Mountain Raceway in Colorado. GTR is intended for diecast racing fans 13+.
Welcome to the Ultimate EVO competition sponsored by Polo Racing and GTR. Stage 1 started with 24 competitors at the 1/8 mile drag strip at Polo Racing. The top 16 have advanced to Stage 2, which takes place here at Shavano Mountain Raceway. Four group races will narrow the field to 8 for Stage 3 back at Polo Racing.

That closer, he really did knock himself out, is quite honestly a gem.
In that last race, Flip rotated 180 degrees on the snow, in preparation for that perfect, backwards drift! Bonkers!
Harvey Moe and Billy need to stick to their day jobs. They do a better job catching marbles

I was going to say the same thing! Harvey, Moe and Billy do a great halftime show but they are terrible announcers. Air-in and Mr. Gear do a much better job than these 3 hooligans.

Just watched and I'm very pleased with the different vibe this race has in my opinion awesome plus a 180 turnaround for a reverse drift , drivers going off road plus a new track record !!! We cannot ask for more !!! Excellent production !!! Thanks !!!

Harvey has that Brent Musburger vibe keeping his composure with a John Madden split into two personalities by a Transporter accident in the form of Moe & Billy! 😂 I was so fixated on their announcing that I'll need a second viewing to focus on the racing. Great to see more conventional vehicles take on the Shavano Mountain today, so refreshing 💯😎🏁

Cool racing, great action. Commentary was funny and a little confusing. I guess being so use to Richard and Air. Idk but was funny. Great job on a fun event. Excellent production of course.

Scripting well takes on additional dimensions of complexity for each character included in the mix
I actually enjoyed the HMB Guys banter. It was a fun experiment that added a little more depth to the GTR story. The camera work and post production graphics are top notch. It’s one of my favorite tracks.

Nice change of pace having the "Hold My Beer Guys" do the commentating. Lots of speed and lots of crashes but the excitement level was still at an all-time high.

Experiments are like that. You try something different, you go for it, people tend to be shocked. Some get used to it, some want for it to be over.
I do try to understand why, instead of just leaving an angry message that doesn't explain anything of my points. And my opinion is, it's up to you if you wanna go through with the experiment or abort it and cancel the idea.

Personally find the "Hold My Beer guys" the part of the vid I skip. This kind of makes it difficult to watch if you put the least enjoyable part throughout the whole video.
