    I build my pizza directly on parchment paper and then slide the pizza and parchment paper into the oven using the pizza peel. Halfway through cooking you can usually pull the parchment paper out from underneath the pizza and let it finish cooking. Keeps the pizza stone clean and doesnt stick when pulling the pizza out.

    To prevent my cookies from getting too dark on the bottom, I use two cookie sheets, stacked, topped with a piece of parchment paper for non stick, easy clean up. Works primo.

    Use hot pads when working with this stove. But it was a good first attempt to make a pizza. Do it 10 more times, and you got it covered. Good on the stone pizza base, but you have to heat that up with your stove. Make a wind break with heavy-duty aluminum foil. Using your knee, wrapp the foil around up to 5 times to allow you to bend around the corner to prevent the wind blowing your heat away.

    • @Jeep-Creep
      @Jeep-Creep  9 месяцев назад +2

      I use Tiseo’s frozen ball pizza dough. It tastes great like delivery! Check your frozen food section at your grocery store. You might find this brand or a similar one. A good close second, Pilsbury makes a good pizza dough in a cardboard cylinder in the refrigerator section. It’s more convenient because it rolls out into a square which you can shape round and it’s flat so you don’t have to work the dough. But the frozen ball tastes better. Also a pizza stone is a game changer too. Either indoor or outdoor oven, grill etc. Please Subscribe I plan on doing more cooking

    I understand that you got the stove, that is, someone else used it previously and you don't know about the state of maintenance. Possible causes of poor flame can be too little pressure in the tank, too little heating of the generator and or impurities in the valve, generator and nozzle. In the generator, the fuel is heated from liquid to gaseous form. Gaseous fuel must come out of the nozzle. If there is liquid fuel, it ignites and flames enter the manifold. Close the valve, when the fuel in the generator has burned out, the flame goes out. There is good guidance available on RUclips, for example OldTown Coleman. The “tale, down/up” Down opens for liquid fuel, up opens for fuel vapor above and closes for liquid fuel. It does not act as a choke. 30-40 pump layers are enough for ignition, but relatively quickly 20 more strokes must be pumped soon after. In the generator is a spring and inside it is a rod which is part of the valve/nozzle. It cokes when using impure fuel. Cleaned and cleaned. The valve may need cleaning if there is impure fuel in the tank. Watch RUclips videos.

    open the black valve all the way then adjust the flame with the lever.
    when pumping it up place your thumb over the hole in the pump handle and pump it until it resists, maybe 30 to 50 times

    Your first time I see? That flame has to be bleu. Yellow is not ok. But make sure you use correct fuel as some do not burn well in that unit. Filling the tank is not in a vertical. Keep the tank horizontally or at a small angle like the fuller has . This way the funnel will stop at the correct level. The air breeder will be submerged.

    THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE ON THE INSIDE OF THE STOVE LID! READ THEM PLEASE. You're valve was dripping fuel at 11:05. That's not good! This is also the point where you say you "don't know how to control this thing very well", which you were absolutely right about, while in that shot on the upper left of the screen, the instructions are just sitting there, lonely, unread, and needing your attention. This could have easily gotten really ugly if the wind shifted a bit and those vapors caught. You overfilled the tank, submerging the air induction port. Those instructions are on the tank. The lighting lever is up until it's warm then down to run. But since you over filled it, the instant lighting feature wouldn't work and you flooded the burner with liquid fuel. That sound was under burn where the fuel was burning inside the bunsen/mixing chamber and burner tube instead of outside the burner. All caused by over filling the tank. With an over full tank and the lighting lever up, you are flooding the shit out of the system. Stove flames should never be yellow after warmup. NEVER. While the lighting lever looks exactly like a lantern cleaning lever, it ISN'T. It only sends air into the generator for instant lighting. The cleaning needle attached to the main valve. When you close it all the way, the needle pokes through the gas tip at the end of the generator. The generator is the long tube with the brass tip. Pressure is your friend with these stoves. You can't really over pressure them. The pump is designed with space at the bottom to limit how much pressure you can make. As soon as it lights you can add air to keep up with the instant light mode, which normally uses a lot of air from the top of the tank. But since is was submerged in fuel. You only got extra fuel. Always fill these per the instructions. There is a dip tube on the filler that automatically leaves proper air space for operation. If you tip the tank to fill it further, you get what happened here. You read the instructions on the pizza dough, but not the ones on the gasoline burning potential bomb. Hmmm HAHA! No one got hurt so no big deal. Just don't do that again please, you may not be so lucky.

    • @mikemorgan5015
      @mikemorgan5015 Год назад +2

      @@Jeep-Creep No problem. Just remember:
      To light: Fill with tank level, pump, aux burner closed, lighting lever up, light match or lighter and hold to main burner, open valve ALL THE WAY. You should get very little, if any yellow flames, when flame is steady blue lighting lever down. Cook away and add pressure as needed.
      To shut down: Lighting lever up, burn on high, watch for flames to change color and lift away from the burner rings(lean condition), close main valve, and wait for stove to cool before packing. This lighting lever up step used to be in the old manuals. It burns off almost all of the liquid fuel left in the generator for a consistent start next time.

    That's a d@mn good pizza. Ha Ha. Enjoyed the video. When I made mine a week or so back ... I pre-cooked my crust a few minutes before adding the toppings...and I cooked mine on a pancake flat pan so I never had to do a transfer.... but I will say that I think that yours turned out much nicer than mine... I guess that pizza stone does the trick.

    • @Jeep-Creep
      @Jeep-Creep  Год назад +2

      It came out great and tasted like a great pizzeria quality! The transfer was really the biggest mistake but still ate really well. I overcooked it a smidge but even though the crust had darker spots didn’t taste burnt at all. That pizza stone made a world of difference and I cannot recommend it high enough. The stone being preheated really made a difference it cooked very throughly and even. The top and bottom cooked perfect. My biggest shock is how fast the cook time is. I did 8 min on a preheated pizza stone and I could have shortened cook time by maybe a few minutes. Crazy!
