Pretty underrated video, and live it was not perfect because of all of the whistles in the microphone, but, oh god, on the video it is so dope!

I would also give it to Inertia all in all but just a lil pointer as you‘re new to this. Dunno if you notized, but Helium rebutled Inertia at the begining of his second round. Works the same way it works in rap battles, you take something your opponent said or in this case kicked and flip it. It was actually a big move by Helium which makes this battle closer than u might think, because rebutles are a lot harder in beatbox as it‘s common you aren‘t capable to make the sounds someone else does especially without prep.

Dlow (judge) did an analysis of this video to explain his judging thought process (he actually analized the GBBs all the way back to the KBB to help show his mindset as a judge). In this analysis, he explains that he was sheer moments from voting for Helium and swung his vote as he was putting his hand up after reminiscing on the energy KA put out because of how he sounded on stage and the connection of his music to the atmosphere of the room. That switch determined the winner as it was a 3:2 vote in favor of KA. Otherwise, it would have been a 2:3 vote in favor of Helium. It's as close as you can get without calling a tie. (Ties used to happen that would be settled in a third round, but SBX set new policies to severely discourage it. I feel like if a tie were called and they had to perform a third round, KA might not have been voted due to being so repedative, stylistically, in one battle. It was already borderline with two rounds)

You’ve been given the biggest battle between the fundamentals of beatbox which most people won’t like compared to the bass king that makes beats everyone just freaks out too but can’t hear the mistakes. Neither of these guys made it to battle this year.. your take is honestly super good and you’re intuition on how helium tried to battle with diversity.: but the sound system was in inertias favor this year. The bass was literally shaking your body
Beatbox is still very niche but there is a ton of talent out there. You can pretty much just pick any battle from GBB 2018-2023 and will be blown away by the skill and creativity. Hope you enjoy the rabbit hole! I fell down 4 years ago and haven't made it back haha
I’ve actually seen king inertia online since his a beatboxer you would expect him to have a good mic but he just to good for that also you should react to remix beatbox his a beast

Den - prefer he’s videos from BBU online RUclips competition actually cause it’s high quality videos and same with artist Hiss. Hiss came 1st place - Den came 2nd Napom battles you have to check out. Then there is a lot more like Codfish, Stitch and other cool beatboxers Tag team you should check out Rogue Wave (the beatboxers in this tag team are the best in the world at the moment I’d say) It’s Collaps and River who both you must check out! Man there is a lot to check. But we here to watch it with you for sure!
