- Do you want to know how to CONNECT ANY HEADSET to your PS4? In this Playstation tutorial, I will show you 3 ways and more to connect your FAVORITE HEADSET to your PS4! There are a few options to consider, first if your headphone doesn't have a mic, what mic do you want to use? A blue yeti? or maybe this Aux cable with a mic in it.....

The first way I show you how you can connect your headset to your PS4 is via bluetooth connection, however, only a few Playstation certified headsets actually work... leaving most bluetooth headsets having to connect via an auxiliary cable listed above. Get an auxiliary cable with a microphone attached or connect one via USB.
The second way to connect would be using an auxiliary cable. Mine doesn't have a microphone on it, however, thats fine because I just use my PS4 mic that came with the console and I plug my aux cable into my monitor via an audio out port.
The third way to connect is via the USB dongle and this will transmit the audio from the dongle to your headset wirelessly. This is as easy as plugging in a controller and should already be sync when you first turn the headset on. It's easy to connect unsupported bluetooth to ps4. Have fun!

That kinda defeats the purpose of a wireless headset if this is the only fix then why not just buy a wired headset with a mic.

This video was extremely helpful. I got a wireless headset and was disappointed when it didn't conn ect. When I saw you could use an I aux cord I was more happy sinc e. It came with one.

If your audio isn't going through your headphones after setting output device to headset, go to output to headphones and set it to All Audio

I just connect through the Bluetooth on my television and it works perfectly and the audio volume isn't limited so it gets as loud as you like,i use the Sony 1000xm3 sound sick!
