    You're a real g in this game, never criticizing a build, understanding everyone has their budget and we are all in the bass world for the love of it. I know plenty of folks that would have not even mentioned the le shehulk kind of build.Your passion for the game shines homie, keep it up, you are a new favorite 🎶🎶🎶🎶

      Damn that’s a big ass compliment man! I don’t take that lightly, I really appreciate that!
      And yea man I just love cars and the DIY attitude. Everyone has their own budget, and to take it a step beyond that, everyone has different intentions with their build.
      I try to judge the execution by the intention, regardless of the style/price/car/or any other variable. Did you do what you were trying? Do you like your results? And most importantly, you having fun with it?
      (And obviously extra points for doing it yourself)
      Thanks for those words man, these comments really help motivate me to keep making these videos.

      Well shit man, you better start up that FB Group! I don't use FB a whole lot, but for finding out about meets and Bass events, it helps a lot.

    I find "Mo'Murda' to be a great Bone-Thugz-N-Harmony song; the bass beat and the energy they bring in their sing-rap sets it off with their style that no one quite matches ... its like Bjork ... if you are in the mood for that artist's music/take on a genre, nothing else is really close enough to match it.
    I miss the Audiovox 18" someone found and gave me and I built a box and rocked it in the back of a 88 RX-7.
    Makes me want to add a big sub to the back of my CR-Z; but would like to see if I can replace the passive 8" with an amped on and keep it looking stock and not losing the entire hatch ;) (but I miss how that 18 could hit so deep; I miss the ultra-lows I got in my youth in the 90s)
    Thank you for keeping the content coming; sends me back 25 years.
    I'm going to make that KAC-818 30 year old mono amp that ran that 18" decades ago work its ass off again one day; 200w@4ohm, 300w@2ohm (RMS ofc) ... any deep hitting 8" that need almost no box that would like that power rating? Any 15" or 18" that only need that little power these days that would sound good? I honestly don't know how that 18" running at 200w used to hit so hard, people with real systems back then used to encourage me to go to comps.
    Sorry for rambling; don't have anyone to geek out about this stuff around any longer. Always appreciate seeing someone doing it and sharing the love of the scene. Floods the memories of the ghetto installs I did at 16 vs stripping an interior down to put the wires under the carpet and run power/audio cables on different sides, etc. going through firewall instead of running it under the door weatherstrip from the corner of the hood :p Stripping wires with teeth bending like a contortionist in trunks/hatches ...
    much love to all you guys for sharing positivity and helping each other; need more of that in the world.

    • @DaBadNewz
      @DaBadNewz  Месяц назад +1

      Mo Murda is definitely another great one from them. East 1999 as a whole was fire!
      And a system would sound good in that CR-Z, but yea you would lose some cargo space if you want those LOW lows. As far as infinite baffle subs, I know there are some (I feel like one was just recently floating around IG), but I honestly have no personal experience with any so couldn't even tell you where to start.
      I always hear people talk about how systems used to really slam with a lot less power back in the day, and I'm always curious what the big difference is.
      Anyway, thanks for checking out the video! And nothing wrong with talking bass to bass heads! That's why I post these videos. I've learned a lot through the comments on my videos and I really appreciate the passing around of knowledge like that.

    • @DaBadNewz
      @DaBadNewz  Месяц назад

      That's a good point! Definitely something to keep in the back of your mind. Between the soundstream and the Epicenter, any stand out features or reasons to choose one over the other? They both sound decent?

    • @frankygonzalez8406
      @frankygonzalez8406 Месяц назад

      Audio control is the og when it comes to bass restoration like the first to come out all the other companys make copys of it and sell it for cheaper your paying for brand name but alot of people argue that it sounds way better than the soundstream but if you are in a car and they ask you you wouldnt be able to tell a difference

    • @DaBadNewz
      @DaBadNewz  Месяц назад

      Yea that’s kinda the vibe I get from the little bit of research I been doing. The AudioControl one is tempting since they have a lot of DSP integrated products. Just kinda seems like that type of product is their specialty rather than just another product they make.
      Thanks for sharing your thoughts man!

    Great content bro I really like how you explain everything I'm new to all of this stuff I have always had a system but NEVER done anything myself well I decided about a year ago to get into competitive audio and start attending shows regularly as of right now I still haven't made my first show yet BUT I'm close I literally just got my power supply out of the way last month (Autotech 240, Autotech Voltage control module, dual run to the back feeding a 29AH SCIB bank from NORTHWEST LITHIUM so I am At the point of the install process where I have to install everything and tune properly but I am running into problems left and right I was attempting to run a stock head unit/LOC and do it like that but every time I try to tune with my SMD tools I can't get any distortion to register even with everything maxed out so I am currently waiting for a new head unit, DSP and other stuff that hasn't come in yet so I'm waiting for a 15" Incriminator audio TYRANT rated for 5K RMS and I just installed a Deafbonce AAK 6k this weekend and waiting for a Deafbonce AAK 180.4 for the mids and highs and four Deafbonce Arnold's basically I am redoing EVERYTHING but I am going to need HELP to make sure everything is done right so I am going to start making videos and posting them in order to learn from the comments and who knows maybe someone else in my shoes may learn something so I am wondering if you can tell me where to read about the copyright rules etc for posting videos I've only posted a short this last weekend just to start but I want to post more this weekend

      Have you hit something smaller than a show? Like a meet like in the video? Those definitely help get you exposed to the scene and all the knowledge available real quick. (There's also trial and error, but that can be real fun, or a real bitch!)
      And damn for your first time doing it yourself, you're going all out! I definitely respect that enthusiasm, just make sure you take your time on the install part so everything comes out the way you want it.
      And honestly, making videos and asking the community is a GREAT way to learn! I've picked up so many lil tips n tricks from people leaving comments on my videos. I definitely support that idea man, do that!
      As far as your question about copyrights, in what context do you mean? Like are you asking about using music in your videos? Talking about brands? Using other people's content?
      The rules are different depending on what you're trying to do and how you do it. For example: All my clips of getting demos have to be pretty short otherwise RUclips will flag the music, and I can't monetize the video, but if I don't care about having it monetized, I can still use those clips no problem.
      In general, you can post whatever, you just can't make money off of it (obviously there is a lot more specific details, but that's a good thing to keep in mind).
      Good luck on your build and your content creation man! Don't hesitate to hit me with any other questions you have, I'll gladly share whatever I know.

    • @DaBadNewz
      @DaBadNewz  Месяц назад +1

      @derrickchoate8298 i feel you man! Well I would definitely look around on FB or IG to see if there’s anything local to you, but either way, I’ll keep bringing you out to our meets through the videos!
      And as far as the copyrights, there’s actually NO way to do it other than using short clips, clips where it’s so distorted that it doesn’t pick it up clearly, or using music you have the rights to use. All that “I don’t own the rights blah blah blah” that people do is literally and completely useless.
      And tbh, the copyright strikes only matter if you are trying to monetize. If you don’t mind not being monetized, the copyright strike doesn’t affect your channel most of the time (and if it will, they make it very clear to you before you even post the video).

    • @DaBadNewz

      I've never ran one myself, but honestly, every build I've seen with one has been absolutely nasty! So while I can't speak from personal experience, ALL the demos I've ever gotten from builds running these have been on the "serious competition level" if that makes sense.

      @omark2423 I’ve actually only ever ran Rockford, Clarion, and Sundown, so I’m not the most experienced (other than demos from other people). I really liked my RF and Sundown amps, and the D4S I have on my mids makes me think it might be worth it to check them out when I upgrade my sub amp.
      I guess to really answer your question, no preference…I just kinda look for the best balance of features/price/power when I need something new.
      That being said, I will probably look at D4S and Sundown first (depending on how much power I end up running).
      (Currently running Sundown)

      @@DaBadNewz that's what up. I like powerbass and currently am using Orion. Now I'm bout to get the salt 6k or salt 8k. You do give great feedback I tuned my amp properly because of you. Thanks and keep the videos coming.

      @omark2423 I’ve heard good things from both, but I don’t think I’ve ever actually got a demo from either (although I heard some Orion subs that were pretty nasty).
      And damn the SALT though?! That’s serious!
      And thanks man!
      I’m still trying to figure this shit out, but that feedback really does help.
      I’m already working on the next one

      I feel that! I'm doing the same with my build. Been a very slow couple years with this car.
      As far as a head unit, I've always liked Pioneer, although there are some pretty good options available from all the major companies for not much money these days (at least as far as car audio goes).
      Oh, and thanks for the sub!
