I am a full-time Mastersmith knifemaker, and I love my job! I specialize in forged fixed blade knives and also make many other types of beautiful knives.
In March of 2007, I went to the W.F. Moran School of Bladesmithing in Old Washington, Arkansas where I took a two week class on Intro to Bladesmithing under ABS Mastersmiths Bert Gaston and Greg Neely. This is where I learned how to make a blade that would pass the ABS Journeyman Smith Performance Test, after that I took a class on Handles and Guards under ABS Mastersmith Jim Walker where I learned how to make handles out of stag, exotic woods and many other materials.
In June, 2011 I received my Mastersmith Stamp at the Atlanta BLADE Show. Now that I have been granted my MS certification I have a desire to expand my field and continue learning and teaching what I learn, God has given me all the opportunities and teachers that I’ve had and I thank Him for giving me the ability to do something I love.
    Follow me on this journey!
    Thanks for watching
    Enjoy!

The whole thing is extraordinarily beautiful and very much a flawless work of art, It is indeed the best start to finish rendering I've ever seen on RUclips. You are a master smith hands down there is no doubting that.
My favorite part of the Bowie is all of it..... but if I had to choose , it would be the butt end / pommel nut. When this thing is in a sheath and that nut with the gold dots is showing, you know there's a thing of beauty hiding inside. The pommel nut is the crown that brings all pieces together.
I'd like to point out, each part and design is as essentially important to the whole construction and look as each part compliments the one positioned next to it.

I would really love the opportunity to work with you sometime; even work for you as an apprentice. I like your style and the results speak for themselves. Your vibe and approach to each project would really test my skills and patience providing an invaluable experience to improve; it is a personal dream to work on high quality blades and hand tools using a setup like yours in the same environment. It is amazing to see high quality work combining creative design with practical function built to last; in this day and age when there are so many economy grade mediocre products around lacking any feeling or real meaning. The things you make honestly could find a home in a museum and be appreciated by people for thousands of years. Please teach me.

Stick the coffee in the fridge between uses. That might keep it fresher and more usable.

Your attention to detail is unsurpassed, truly a masterpiece of workmanship and you seem to have fun doing it, it's truly a blessing to be able to work so close with family and to create one of a kind pieces of such quality is incredible, it might be difficult but stay humble and keep creating these beautiful pieces of art, you truly take it to a higher level.
