Every day of the year and twice on Saturdays and Sundays, I will choose the S23 Ultra ($700), S24 Plus ($700) and even the S23 Plus ($400-$500) instead of this S24 FE, not to mention competitors like the OnePlus 12, iQoo 12 and others.
It's not that the S24 FE is a bad smartphone, it's just that it's like the Pixel 9 / 9 Pro, pretty good smartphones but sold for $250-$300 too expensive compared to what they're really worth, compared to the competition, in the current market 🤷🏽♂️
On the other hand, at $400-$500 maximum for the 12G/256G version, the Galaxy S24 FE can be a good deal.

I got the s21 ultra 5g and the only reason I'd even think about the s24 fe would be for the ai and the 7 years os from this year, apart from that I'm not upgrading. Note well, I'm not upgrading🥲

Interesting. I don't like that much the design of the Ultra. I prefer the design of S24Fe, S24 Plus, S23 Plus.
The real problem of Exynos smartphones is the price. There are also differences, processing photos and videos: if this Exynos was that good, Samsung would use it in S24 Ultra, S23 Ultra, worldwide.
I've bought a 13 Pro instead a S22 because of that. I wanted a small Galaxy with a Snapdragon but we can't have this anymore in Europe.
S24 FE is not a bad phone but pricing in some countries is high. Today, on Amazon France, S24FE and S24 Plus 256Gb cost the same price. Also for a FE, bezel on the bottom is not good.

Samsung is closing the gap with Qualcomm, once exynos is produced on a GAA transistor node there won't be a noticable difference.

@@matthews-techI hope to see your review on the Exynos 1580 when it comes out. Midrange Exynos processors have already caught up with 2020 flagship processors. Like the 1480 and SD 865. The 1580 is expected to match SD 888 based on benchmark leaks

@@androidoneiu5206 sd 8 gen 4 should be with orion cores or something similar but i really don't care anymore, i got a honor 200 with 7 gen 3 and really impressed me , it's very responsive and not a single lag on scrolling and opening apps, it's not the fastest but also the phone even in geekbench barely worm up :) , battery it's gold

S22+ was badly optimized my sister had iphone 13 pro and her was way better optimized in terms of apps and games but I still use my s22+ for dex great device but not the best
@@user-us6gw7hg8qThe s22 series phones had either the snapdragon 8 gen 1 or exynos 2200 chipsets that were manufactured by Samsung at the time. They were so bad. Heat management issues, poor thermals, bad battery life. The S22 ultra was the worst phone I ever had. When Qualcomm when back to TSMC to manufacture their chips, those issues were gone.
iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max is still one of the best phones IMO.

Obviously people are free to buy what they want, but it just feels disheartening to see people who can't even access basic phone settings easily go for these highest tier devices.
