There's only one note on the high E string. Challenge yourself to play the exact same lick, but use your B string for the high E note. Slide to it, hop to it, do it every way you can. It will make a better guitarist out of you.
Got a tips on those vertical notes on the fifth fret? Do you barre those, do you alternate pick or sweep them? At this speed i could probably do this, but at metal solo speed i have huge problems and it get slopppy
Yo dawg from my observation it's a barre on the top 3 and the thumb on the low E. you can mute the in between strings with the tip of the thumb and first finger. I strum it (sweep) super lightly then hammer on the 6 fret and release the chord. It's a bit fiddly! I play mostly metal too, blues is tough!
I love playing those small bits and pieces. They're great for showing off your skills haha.
Excellent! Thankyou
i was thinking to myself, i should try and learn the next guitar short i see. i unfortunately saw playing god before this so i’ll see you in a year
I’d rather play like a bluesman than Tim any day
@@Bigbrotherthunder Highly technical playing is soulless
Okay times up time to come back now
@@B3nCastle I'd rather say that knowing when to be highly technical is what matters

Wowwww ❤️🎸
Got it.
What is the first chord that he strummed? In what key is this lick? A?
I would try this, but my guitar currently has no strings because my high e string disappeared, and I needed to change my strings anyway

What mode ?

I heard Stairway to Heaven for a second
Nice, what scale is this lick ?
Moveable. Whatever key you want it to be in brother! But specifically, it looks like he’s playing in Am Pentatonic if you ask me
I’m confused on how to make the lead notes work like 567 if we’re talking scales where are we at ?
He relieves it with a G which works good because it’s a basic 3 note walk up. The key used here is the A minor pentatonic
Blues scale thing
👍
Ouais ! Et après. Ça veut rien dire ce lick
