Why didn't they use the small table on the first game?

you guys should play lord of waterdeep on here some time. it's a great game for ~4 players!
Jungle Speed seems needlessly complex but strangely enjoyable.
I think the complexity is purposeful; it adds to the difficulty of having to act quickly on what is correct, opening you up to mistakes.

exploding kittens relies basically fully on "lol look at this weird silly/gross art" and has basically no substance, it's really disappointing I think
I agree, the game had absolutely nothing to it but a pretty boring card game, with a bunch of unrelated "funny" pictures on the cards, really lousy game
