Just because someone can win a rap battle doesn't automatically make them a studio artist. Some rappers specialize at rap battles. Of course many studio artists started in the streets too. But to say that Roc isn't witty and clever is a gross understatement. I've had Roc Marci lines hit me weeks later. His work requires repeated listening to fully understand where he's coming from. That said, Roc is a master of his craft.

Roc Marciano is one of my favorite rappers that i am checking for because he is hip hop life support for me in this rap game period! No rapper in the game can compete with his realistic real intelligent player type gangsta swag flow period. Beats like Peru pissed me off. But when he catch you with emeralds the Classic, Shit together, Paradise for pimps, rosebuds revenge, already, poltergeist, tek to a mac, Bruh man and dark horse that i wish was longer and many more songs.... omg he crushes the game with that certain carved style lane thats unmatchable.
