Got these yesterday and am really liking them so far. Getting solar panels and hub 2 tomorrow so I can control via HomeKit and Alexa with constant power.
I have to say, it does make them pretty silent - I think the noise of my own curtain grommets is actually louder than the robots, so on different types of curtain, they would be very very quiet
Definitely some good things to know. The hardware is pretty solid, but I've found the software to be less than ideal. Thankfully this is relatively easy to improve.
As Matter becomes more established, I suspect more users will move away from the SwitchBot app in favour of others - you're right, it's not the most user friendly, but maybe with new updates, I might eat my words! Thanks so much for watching!
@@HeyTechi For sure! The problem is that because SwitchBot's Matter support is via the Hub 2, you have no choice, but to interact with their app at this point. I'd love to see them move away from Bluetooth and start integrating Thread.

Lasted a year. Now i cnt the motor to roll the main wheel. So devistated
Are those switchbot just one piece?
Yes but there are bundles of 2 but obviously more expensive
