Did you manage to sort your phone? Mine did this a few years ago and I contacted apple via phone and they talked me through sorting it out. All you need is your laptop xx
Hope you have a great time in Rhodes! I went in 2014 and loved it! I've also been to Kos and just got back from Corfu and those are both lovely too - can't go wrong with Greece!!

My iPad did the same thing as your phone and you need to link it to iTunes to start it up again. Search it in google, it’s can either have something to with your charger or the battery. I had to get my iPad battery replaced xx
ah i landed back from rhodes on the 31st! i was there nearly three weeks and its lush! x
My phone did the same a while ago before I got the 8, I just called Apple or spoke to them on live chat and they told me what to do, and it sorted it out. Only needed my laptop x

Its because iphones are only water resistant not water proof so if you put it fully under water thats probably why your phones like that!

the phones are water resistant not water proof so it can only deal with being in water for so long and at certin depth so you phone could be water damaged xx

i love you floral crop top that you had on in the evening, where did you get it from?
My phone did that so i took it to the store and they said it was because it was an older model, the IOS software was too old for the version of phone i had, so I brought a new phone, took the old one home and then my dad managed to work his magic and completely fixed it!! There's RUclips videos telling you how to fix it, they should ridiculous and pointless but they actually work!!
The same thing actually happened to my phone the other day when I dropped it in water but its fine now I waited overnight for it to start working again

It’s probably the charger cable playing the phone up, not the phone. Grab a charger and try. I have an old iPhone SE and it behaves impeccably. (Now I’ve said this it’ll do a dying swan on me!) when in Portugal I ended up having to buy another charger cable (Primark saved me).

The same thing happened to my phone, apparently it’s because I never updated the software which caused it to slow down!
my ipad is currently doing the same as what your phone was doing and i can’t use it anymore. it’s actually driving me insane.

Sound stupid cause they label as "waterproof", but not to the standards of dunking into a pool. It's more like a 1 sec drop in the bath or heavy rain purpose
