@@predeterminedmeat5024 for sure all the technical talent could be talked about for 10000 lifetimes, he's the greatest... however, all that aside, the emotion he projects surpasses most everything else ever made, and I love like 6000 artists across 154 subgenera.

His version that Edie Brickell tune is stellar! The studio version is also incredible. Really not that much different from this one, just a little more polished but not slick or any studio tricks.

The first ten times I saw J+ (Dinosaur jr) he had black hair. You never saw his face as he strummed. This was back in 1992-94 before cellphones etc; it was epic! The world was so simple and real compared to the insanity today. Enjoy the moments, folks because things are about to get so complicated in the west that we have absolutely no idea how to deal with.

theres a vid of him talking about how he stacks od and fuzz pedals. the breakdowns in the first song are classic big muff but i think he uses different pedals for the clean overdrive sounds
