Beverly (a #trans #dragqueen) visits the Bunkers and Archie ropes her in to play a prank on his friend who always pranks hik. While the premise could be offensive, the friend knows who Beverly is and hilarity ensues
All in the Family was a top 10 shows at the time, so to portray a #queer person better than friends would do 20 years later is amazing. Beverly would come back 3 times.
Beverly was played by #LoriShannon a person amab who also used various terms to describe themselves and same on pronouns. Lori sadly died in 1984 allegedly of a heart attack
