We always have these ginger lemon cubes in our freezer. Especially in the cold season. With hot water it becomes a delicious tea and as ice cubes in sparkling water it becomes a delicious refreshing drink.
Be sure to try it out. Once you get used to having it at hand, you can't do without it anymore 😉
    Ingredients:
    5 organic lemons
    1 big peace ginger
    1 glas water
    __________________________________________________________________________
This is real cooking in a real small family kitchen. No professional studio filming. I'm sorry if the cooking fumes sometimes obstruct the view. My kitchen is only 7m² 😊.
    ___________________________________________________________________________
    Measurements
I mostly use cup as measure. If you have a cup or a glas that also measures 250ml, you can always use that for measuring. For certain finished products and baking recipes, I always write down the grams also.
    1 cup = 250 ml
    ¾ cup = 175 ml
    ½ cup = 125 ml
    1⁄3 cup = 80 ml
    ¼ cup = 60 ml
    2 Tbsp = 30 ml
    ____________________________________________________________________________
My videos sometimes feature brands and products that I use. Since the legal situation is currently somewhat unclear and I would like to avoid warnings, I would like to point out that my videos do not contain any paid product placement or advertising, unless otherwise stated.

Hello everyone! I'm so glad I have these ginger lemon cubes in the freezer. We're all in bed with a cold right now. I put 2-3 cubes in a pot of mint tea with some honey. it really clears a stuffy nose. I can only recommend.

I cut lemons in half, squeeze juice out, then chop the rinds into smaller pieces and dehydrate them. When dry they can be crushed into a powder. If you don't want to use it all for these cubes, try mixing with equal parts of pepper for a lemon pepper seasoning for meats, veggies.

I blend the whole lemons. I squeezed some of the lemons and use the juice to blend it. No water added. It blends so beautifully, very creamy. I then pour them in ice trays and freeze them. Make sure your lemons/limes are organic. Blending the whole lemons is extremely important. The benefits are amazing. Don’t blend the skins if your lemons are not organic.

I do the same, the whole lemon. I cut off the end knobs and remove any pips though. The pith and peel have some wonderful benefits and are not too bitter, in fact I've grown to like the taste, mixed with honey. I have a very powerful blender so it comes out as a smooth paste. I tend to freeze smaller cubes as it's more concentrated. Such a simple and easy process, thanks for posting your video 🍋🐝❤

Maybe people here are confused. The person used the zest of the peel and not the whole rind. Just the yellow part. I do see that there are a bit of the pith of the peel, but it is mostly the zest (yellow part) was used. It shouldn't be bitter.
