So funny they had the same 33-24 record last year when they were world beaters in the regular season.
Yeah way too many injuries. Acuna and Srider obviously a big hit and then other guys like Smith-Shawver, I was really looking forward to him pitching, thought he might finally be the fit to replace Strider. Clearly still the top NL Wild Card but they need to catch the Phills. The Braves love June though so this could be a big turnaround
No the braves are NOT done, we won the WS America w/o Acuna, and it broke my heart when was injured the other day...also look at our pre all-star record in...when was it, oh wayyyyyy back in '21 and won the WS...
Mariners not top 10? We dominate the reigning WS champs, spIit with the yankees and aImost sweep the Astros and we're stiII considered garbage.

What can we do to help make it a perfect game? I'm in cause that needs to be fixed big time. And while we are at it put Pete in the Hall. If they say Bonds is the homerun king then Pete should be in the HOF.
Problem is even Pete said he shouldn't and not only that he had a bunch of chances to be allowed again and did it AFTER the commissioner passed away. He pretty much did it to himself.

Dropping the Braves to 9 may have been generous but ranking Gil ahead of Sale for pitcher of May is CRIMINAL. Gil had one more decision but Sale had a lower ERA and more K's. If Sale played for the Phils he would be pitcher of the month
I think there’s a good chance that if you make a trade offer to a team right now they are just going to use it as a starting point for other trade negotiations. If you are trying to get the biggest haul possible, why not wait?

You guys ive watched and loved the show for some time...but this i gotta afmit, i found it hilarious what the umpire said...look they're human folks, and yes for the Internet i played (a little😅) upper level baseball...so obviously hittting a Spencer Strider fasball, much less a slider is much harder (id say impossible...lol) than calling balls and strikes....thay being said i dont consider myself old but according to the internet, at 45, im basically 80...so call me old fashion, but i love having umpires and definitely love umpire/player/manager arguments...ps just to help my case on the "being old thing", i just pulled a Micheal Harris ll RC yesterday...yes im a life long Braves fan, but in my quiet voice have always loved the Yankees....My favorite player when i was young was Don Mattingly, and Aaron Judge is a beast...but my very very very close 2nd favorite player (maybe 1-B) was George Brett...I think he was thrown out as many games as he played in...lol..and of course the my guy HOF Braves Coach Bobby Cox.... literally holds the record for most ejections by a Manager...and because humans are weird, we loved him for it... professional in something or not, if you can dish it, then you should be able to take it, all else aside...sorry comment turned into a badly attempted blog or short story....lmao... still love y'all's show and Saturdays with Smoltz.
i believe if torkelson was paired with judge then judge can mentor this kid and unlock his potential. sometimes a change of scenery and coaching does wonders
