Brendan Fraser in Whale was brilliant and heart wrenching. It's the only film that has made me cry. I was so involved in the story that I wanted to reach out and hug him and help him. Absolutly brilliant and deserves every award going.

I thought Christensen gave a great performance as Skywalker. The troubled Teen was played really well, if the dialogue let him down its not his fault!
I didn't see the movie, but I heard a lot about the guy being crapped on by fans, and I had a similar opinion. You blame the writer if you don't like the dialog. How can you blame the actor he didn't get to make up some of his lines. He wasn't that big time. Denzel Washington gets to do that from time to time.

As harsh as this may seem, especially me being someone who wants to really get in as a screenwriter someday, I really wish Harvey had got the "Jeff Epstein" treatment while behind bars. Difference is because Jeff was willing to talk about those who were blackmailing him and who he knew were on his "list".

He also starred in _Déjà Vu_ along Denzel Washington in 2006, in _Outlander_ along Sophia Myles in 2008, in _Person of Interest's_ 5 seasons from 2011 - 2016 along Michael Emerson. And last year he had an impressive succes with _Sound of Freedom_ , a film that Disney had their grip on but didn't wanted to release and made 250.6 millions of a 14.5 million $ budget. He's far from vanished. He just picks his roles with care.

I think what they did to Rose McGowan it's shameful. I also think that Stacey Dash shouldn't be blacklisted for her religious beliefs. She has just the same right to adhere to her beliefs as everyone else does. I find it hypocritical but that's what this world has turned to.
Having religious beliefs is fine, but trying to force them on others is not the way for anyone to go. The best way to do it is to lead by example.

I Stacey Dash's case, it's not so much her religious beliefs in themselves. It's seems to be more her pushing them onto others so aggressively. That's what makes people so mad. If you want people to respect your beliefs, you need to extend the same courtesy to them and respect theirs too, and not push your beliefs on them.

for Hayden Christensen a lot of people don't realize that he was instructed to act and deliver his lines to match the mannerisms and way of speaking of Darth Vader in the original trilogy.

Was a very successful, popular actress in her younger years starring in the show “7thHeaven” for years prior to being in movies mostly.
Her part as Cora Tannetti in Season 1 of 'The Sinner' was amazing!
Jessica Biel has always been a secret favorite of mine. She is criminally underrated both for her talent and beauty. I wish she was in more movies and projects, but I understand family comes first. I wish her happiness in her life!

Brenden Fraser stopped working for multiple reasons, and Berk was only a small one. He had multiple back surgeries and a partial knee replacement due to continuous injuries he suffered on the set of all 3 mummy movies. That's why he now suffers with his weight as he can't be as active as he used to be.

Why can't Hollywood create films like that? All they can do, these days, is re-do's of older films, or sequels! There seems to be no original writers anymore! We were so spoiled through the 90's to 2010's. Even before COVID, Box Office ticket sales were low. Except for Maverick - COVID drove a deep chill through Hollywood, followed by a strike . Some of these actors are still acting. Nicolas Cage, for instance, was in 6 movies in 2023 and has 5 upcoming projects. Jessica BIEL ( the correct way to spell her name ) is also still acting. Tobey Maguire, Brendan Fraser and Mel Gibson, too. Maybe in not so called Hollywood movies, but they are still acting.
You actually nailed Cage's problem in your defense if him. 11 movies in two years is WAAAAYYYY too many. He's opting for quantity over quality. I get that he needs the money but he can't be making that much on the back of most of these D list roles he's taking.

wow thank you. I live in France, and never heard of any of this, but always wondered what happened. Often the movies that comes out in the Usa don't show here so I just told myself that their movies were not good enough to have them worldwide, i never would have imagined that all of this happenned. For sure if they appeared in a movie, and that it came out outside of the USA , those movies would be successful for sure.
I’m confused as to why Nicolas Cage is on this list. I don’t recall seeing a giant gap in his movies. Heck, he did a movie in 2021 where he didn’t even speak and his acting was still amazing. He’s still a very versatile actor.
