Alright, I have a theory so just bare with me...
Maybe this is the first time yellow was an imposter. I just imagine yellow rarely gets the role of imposter and that he always gets Crewmate. An as a crewmate, he usually dies within the first few minutes of the game. So that's why he's just happy to be alive for a majority of the game.
And this song is one of those rare times he gets imposter. And that moment when he thought he was going to die, for a moment, he forgets that he's an imposter too.
And towards the end, Yellow is happy with Purple because Purple basically carried him throughout the entire game for a win.
Anyway, that's my take of it.
