aww that's so sweet! thank you for sharing the information. I am flying to Portugal with my pup soon. I wouldn't know about the airport vet thing without watching your video
Hi Nessa, thank you so much fir sharing this video. I'll be traveling from the US to Germany in December with my Bichon Frisé Sushi. I will be going to Nuremberg from the US by plane and then to Switzerland and Italy by train and finally to Portugal from Italy by plane. Anyways, my question is, do I need to see a vet in every country I go to or just the first country I enter Europe from? In this case I'm entering Europe through Germany. Again, thank you so much for sharing your experience of traveling with your fur baby.
Do you mind sharing how tall and how long Sophie is? We want to travel with our shih tzu in cabin for a domestic flight but worry that he might be too big coz most airlines require the dog to be able to stand up and turn around in the carrier which has a restriction of 9.5 to 11 inch in height.
What are your views on leaving the puppy in the cargo section if the dog and crate are over weight? Also, do you know the name or link of that carrier bag?
This is really interesting! I'm going to be bringing home a cavapoo puppy soon and I'll need to fly home with the puppy so I'm searching for any information :) Sophie did so well!
This was so helpful thank you for posting this video! We are planning a trip to Japan with our Cavapoo and she is a very similar size to Sophie so this makes me feel better. Could you share what dimensions the carrier was and if you have a link to where you bought it? It looked great!
This is so helpful as I'm planning to fly to Spain with my cockapoo puppy who is 8 months old now. I'm concerned because she is still growing and weighs about 10 pounds now. I'm curious how much Sophie weighs and how tall she is? She seemed to fit in her carrier well, and she was such a good girl🐶
I'm glad our video was helpful! I would definitely recommend checking in with which airline you think you may be traveling with. I know AirTransat had a weight restriction of 10kilos (including the carrier). Sophie's around 14lbs now fully grown, if you want more info on her full height, size and weight you can watch a video I did sharing all that info here: ruclips.net/video/9c58v5GmrWs/видео.html (How Much Do Cavapoos Weigh? How Big Do Cavapoos Get?).
Our dog is 8 months old now. We want to travel with him but it is only a 2 hour flight to get to our destination. Meaning that we may not be able to take our dog with us! Any tips or help?
@@NessaandSophie he is small enough to travel with us on the plane but we don’t know if we are going to be able to get him on without any issues of just dogs not being able to go on the plane! Thankyou for your help btw❤️❤️
@@mayaxplays6826 I don't know how it works with the airline you're hoping to travel with but I would definitely see what rules and requirements they have so you can be prepared and not run into any troubles. It's always better to be prepared.
Thank you for this, I am panicking as we are planning to take our chihuahua to Canada in. 12 weeks and he is taller than the 8inch bag height we are allowed so I was worried he was too big (he is tiny) weight wise we are well under the 10kg, but now the struggle is finding a bag as I thought Air Canada size measurments was a max height of 10inches but it seems it is 8 or 8.5inches for our flight. At the airport did they test to see if Sophie could turn in the bag? and stand up? thats what I am worried about.
Sophie is the Best Girl! and she has a wonderful Momma. Have fun you two!
You're too kind! Thank you! 😊
