Go out and get your CAMS Ariarne, there could be some untapped talent there. That was the great thing about the celebrity races, the surprise at some of the entrants' natural ability.
@@dhiquobgnaloo I had an absolute moment of dyslexia - in my mind I was saying C8 Corvette then was thinking Chevy and typed Camaro! Dunno what I was doing haha I had the yellow one from GT7 in my head as I just got it in GT7 and the tail detail and spoiler were the obvious idenitifers. Sounded epic either way and what a lap. Would loved to have seen it at its limits (if pushed that hard then some safety gear). But awesome stuff at any rate...
yeah why they don't have a real supercar with a passenger seat to give real test rides makes no sense. I want the real thing or buzz off with your street car test drive.
As for all the Muppets saying they should wear helmets, you don’t wear helmets in cars with airbags in general …….they have a propensity to break your jaws, or necks etc etc .
Even though they are in a road car, they both should be wearing a helmet. I say this as they are going way over highway speeds. Yes I know Jdub is an awesome driver, but safety should never be compromised
A very fun drive but also very scary watching them going at these speeds here without the necessary safety equipment. Brake failure here and they're a goner. Tossed out of the sash belt like a salad and into the a pillars or out the windows. Not a pretty visual.
@@rainey06au google seatbelt pretensioners. People do not leave their seat wearing a lap sash seatbelt now. You are strapped in for the ride and this is why first responders (and many motorists) carry seatbelt cutters.
There is no way you can call that a HOT lap when he is not driving a full spec supercar, It should be called a fast lap in a regular sedan. Wincup is a w4nker.
Completely irresponsible with a major lack of safety equipment. Meanwhile everyday Australians get their car crushed and lose their licence while the rich famous and powerful look after each other as usual.
You do realise Jamie Whincup is a seven time Supercars championship winner right? He's one of the best and most experienced drivers this country has ever produced. And he is driving well within his and the car's limits, he was actually taking that pretty easy. If he went properly hard Ariane would have been truly frightened. Going for a spin with JDub in that car on a DESIGNATED RACE TRACK AT A RACE MEETING is arguably far safer than getting in a car with you driving at 40kmh going to the shops. Seriously. Get a grip you utter wowser.
Comparing a 7 time supercar champ driving on a closed track to an average idiot on the main roads.... top mind at work here. In fact if you can make a dopey comparison like that then it follows that you are probably out there driving like a clown and when the cops pull you up you squeal "b-but they do it on tv!!"
That look in J Dub's face, he probably wishes he still competed full time.
Her face when he explained that touching the wall is necessary😂😂
Jamie was really good with her.
What a way to take good people around the street circuit.
I remember her Dad Steve commentated ATCC and Bathurst back in the early 90s for Ch 7
This is what happiness looks like fellas
She’s a keeper😉

She's fired up after that
I really miss watching J Dub race 😢
What car is it?
Is that Peter Rosethorne at the end with the Mic?
What car are they in ?
I was wondering too - was it a Camaro?
@@denzomurrayo2827 At the 2.22 marks as she gets out of the car it looks a bit like a corvette
Eray Corvette
Pretty sure that is a vette.

You wuss. They are on a race circuit with no traffic. There's always got to be one bad apple.

Why, its not s racecar
Why are you even here lol
The safety equipment was between the seat and the steering wheel. It’s probably the best safety equipment you can get….
