You know, Harajuku always had the more unsettling songs in the franchise, but this track still hits different. It could be the progression of a character arc in musical form. Or it could be the fact that Neko Hacker doesn't usually make music this dark. Or it could be the sum of the two that makes this song truly unsettling. Either way, it sits firmly near the top of my favorite tracks in the franchise so far and makes me interested in seeing what's gonna happen to the Harajuku unit.
Harajuku have always been the problem children, bickering with each other but still sticking together. I always felt that Hina, who has "Solitude" as her official trait, was lacking a "serious" song like Shian or Mimito do, but now I'm looking forward to what's going to happen to the three of them
@@CorgiLikesJPop Daisuki Dayo was released well before DYEDJ 2nd, so it's really just the Meido EP and City Hunter that have this heavier tone to them. Regardless, it's nice that they're incorporating heavier stuff alongside the chill/cute stuff.
Wow, I got a hint at her feeling like this in the back of her head in the original, but here it's all raw and out there. Storytelling through music, I love it. But also, poor Mimito :(
The lyrics are so hurtful, I feel so bad for her.. I think Mimi's situation is very similar to ramuda from hypmic but worse .. Thank you for the translation.. ^^
thanks a lot for your translation! So fast wow qwq and also a big "Thank You" for all you do for denonbu fandom! Denonbu is so underrated, it has very interesting charas, music and story, I hope it'll bang as soon as possible qwq Also I started to love Mimito a lot more with the help of your translations, thanks a lot again! you're amazing 💓
Can someone explain my what Denonbu is exactly I know it’s a mixed media thing made of Music and Mangas explain the lore of the certain units I also heard there are life shows
Simply put it's a story about a cast of 12 (soon 15) highschool DJs. Most of the story is actually contained in the novels/manga, but the main focus of the franchise is the songs. After listening to Tama's song I got curious about the setting, and that's where the rabbit hole begins
Wasn't it shian who was the one who was djing at the end of the live. i mean their in the same unit so it's fine maybe the real reason this song exist cuz shian likes seeing her suffer lol
Oh and i'm honestly not to surprised we got a song like this from her considering how the 1st part of the song had some heavy undertones and how the music had a somewhat eerie vibe to it. Love that their willing to show their characters with flaws like this which is why i really think this and hypmic are great music projects.
I don't think there are any hints of Shian being responsible for the event, but during the live this song was played between the Kabuki area choreography and the Kabuki unit reveal, so I think it's safe to say they have a hand in this
@@RedrumXVII Oh i was mostly joking i don't Shian would actually do that just funny how it lined up in the live. It's very possibly perhaps the 3rd cutesy looking girl is what triggered it hard to say. It def her anxieties and possibly depression coming out from her normally cutesy facade. Maybe she is somewhat inspired by menhera.
I mean that's basically it bamco wanted some of the money that hypmic was making basically so they started their own project to promote a more niche jp music scene
mimito: 😭😭😡🤯
the guitar: 🔥🔥💣💣
Im sure shes sad and stuff (not a denonbu story guy yet) but the instrumentals are crazy yo 😭😭😭
Not only is the song intense and reflecting her darker inner thoughts, she also cut off her twintails it looks like
You know something is a big deal when haircuts are involved

We got more dark tracks from Neko Hacker now, which are Daisuki Dayo and the Meido no Miyage EP, all sung by Wotoha.

@@pedreiva Oh yeah you’re right. Honestly I love Neko Hacker’s discography.
one of the best songs that Neko Hacker has put out in recent memory, but poor, poor Mimito.

I love this song, the verse between line are just good
reading the translate can tell this is mental breakdown

Thank you for the translation.. ^^
Wow, this song is quite intense... for a very different reason, those lyrics hurt, also that last part ;; Thank you for translating!
The scream at the very end is gonna stay on my mind for some time

Fun fact: this entire song doesn't use the particle "を" at all.
Amazing work with the translation as always, glad to see you back thank you for your work!
...Wow, this is somehow even darker after watching the old version.
Just hearing her whimper during the build and fall apart during the drop is so disturbing
Damn, what a banger, thanks as always!
i did not expect her to breakdown in the sequel holy shit
Mimito, u ok?? I agree with the decs tho, she is cute even in despair
oh boi, menhera mimito? love her more now
isnt this just idol edm emo? i fuck with it
I really didn’t expect something like this... I kind of dig it a lot though..
No one was expecting this, but I love it!

Where can we learn more about the story?
recommended to check out the first Denonbu Novel to get a glimpse at the world view of Denonbu. Summaries are available on the unofficial wiki.
@@Damillora Thank you!
what is GOING ON here
I wanna know too!
The guitar part is just so disgusting
The amount on edge in this is so cringe
