STORY
In this video, we explore the incredible abandoned home of Mister Antonio, a man who devoted his entire life to his faith. With no wife or children, his world revolved around his religious calling. He spent most of his years serving as a priest in the local church, becoming a steadfast pillar of the community.
As the only child of a Spanish couple, Antonio inherited this charming house built by his parents in the late 1800s on the side of a picturesque hill. From this vantage point, the house offers breathtaking views that captivate the eye from a distance. After his parents' passing, he painstakingly transformed the home into the masterpiece we see today.
Antonio had a passion for antiques and beautiful art. Every square centimeter of his house is adorned with exquisite furniture, paintings, and tapestries, reflecting his deep love for these artifacts.
It's believed that he led a very secluded and lonely life, finding comfort in the quiet solitude of his home, where he would often retreat to study and reflect after fulfilling his duties at the church.
Upon his passing, with no heirs to claim his beloved home or its treasures, the house was left abandoned two decades ago. Yet, it remains a frozen moment in time, preserved exactly as he left it.
As you step into this house, you are transported into Antonio’s world. Every room, every artifact whispers the story of his life and passions. Believe us when we say, this is a hidden gem you don't want to miss out on! Join us as we uncover the secrets and stories of this incredible abandoned home.

I once attended a Priest viewing and funeral. The Priest was buried wearing his liturgical vestments, stole, and ecclesiastical ring. His Bible, chalice and other items were displayed next to him. When it was time to close his coffin the bible and rosary were placed on his chest and the other items were placed by his feet. In Mexico we pray a novena. Its a daily prayer for 9 days starting after the burials. Someone attending must of left his passing announcement on the bed.
❤
In the Philippines also pray the novena for 9 days and in 40 days we visit in cemetery and pray a novena their..after next visiting after one year..
I think Antonio was a military man who served his country and adhered to his religion. A man who lived in a classy and classic house. His friends and acquaintances were very few, but I would like to mention Miguel’s painting. This is a Mexican painter. I love his painting. Thank you, great people, for this elegant exploration.
He was an ordained Roman Catholic priest.
This is probably one of my most favorite episodes that you have done and shared with us. I absolutely love this house. The priests had exquisite taste, tapestries, furniture, artwork, rugs, and so much more. I absolutely love both of you and the work that you do and how you share it with us. I watch every new episode always. Thank you so much for sharing ❤❤❤
I love this 🏠🏡 so much , I enjoyed the video it's nice like always. The furniture is so beautiful 😍❤️ thank you Lesley and Danny for sharing ❤❤🎉🎉
11:12 OMG, such a beautiful art nouveau artwork 😭😭🤧 edit: searched for it, it's a print of Mucha's "Éveil du matin" (Morning Awakening)
The molding really makes it stand out! I want it 😅
The picture of the young girl in white looked like first communion pictures
Yes I thought so as well
We all look like its a mass mini wedding for first communion.
Yes it is, you are RIGHT
What a shame that this has all been left behind. I hope someone saves this home or the belongings at least. Its so pretty.
the facade is completely overgrown with green plants🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿, very impressive how he lived, eyeliner in the bathroom? He was a priest and married? definitely a beautiful house🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿
Lots of antiques and the stuff is really unique that's really too bad it all got left behind
I think this was the Priest's family home, and his parents had some wealth. The girls in white veiled dress are of their "First Communion" a Catholic tradition. They may be sisters or cousins of the Priest. The fuzzy tapestries are more common from the 1970's as well as the striped upholstered chair/sofa. It was a beautiful home in its prime, sad to see it left to decay.
Gracias
Thanks for the trove of cultural information.
Cant wait to watch this exploration! Looks fabulously frozen in time!!
That antique entry table, we call a calling card table. Guests would leave their calling cards on it. Great tour. Thank you for sharing. God Bless 🙏🙏
Priests were well looked after, they had many visitors on a regular basis to their homes, for counselling, guidance, bible talk, etc.
I think the woman in the pictures was his sister & the pictures of the younger girl in white was probably her first communion. I wore a white dress with a similar head piece for my first communion.
@@gloriacgiraldog4644 - It could have been a daughter from his mother's or father's sister/brother (Uncle/Aunt's) child.
Console table? Wow great video!
Beautiful furnishings. I love that big display case on one end of the room.
My Momma had that same tapestry with the stag that's in the dining room.
Love, love the dinning room, it’s so charming 😊
Gorgeous home. Antonio had excellent taste! And the tables in the entryway are called console tables.
It is a crime that all these abandoned houses contain so many extraordinary pieces. These should be saved immediately, not left to rot. Disgraceful.
Hoo DIOS !!! ME DA TANTA TRISTESA VER CASAS ABANDONADAS , Y PENSAR QUE HAY TANTA GENTE , FAMILIAS QUE NO TIENEN DONDE VIVIR 😥🇨🇱⚘
The table in the entrance is called a hall table. Very beautiful home, I enjoyed the whole tour, thank you!
Isabel-Brasil
The sink and faucets look very updated and modern but this retired servant of Rome had exquisite taste!
The sinks and faucets are well over 40+ years old.
@@wildfireintexas Amazing as they look so upscale. Perhaps Europe is way ahead of American ideas.
@@brigittebeltran6701 Those would be considered outdated now. They seem very 70’s or 80’s. I’ll have to ask my friend when her parents did their bathroom that looks like that.
It was mentioned that he inherited the house from his parents, in this the contents of the house may have also been chosen by his parents and he continued to live in the environment that they created and made their home.
Thanks!
Hello guys, beautiful find. I hope his church is taking care of this beautiful home, it should not be left to rot.amazing home. Thank you for sharing.love from the US.💜🌸

Love watching videos of these huge mansions along with lovely furniture
Thanks a lot for all the trouble you take for sharing them.
The house is beautiful.Wishing you good health in your work.Goodbye👍👍👌👌
Lovely house.. Thank you 💕
Amazing house & beautiful detail of the furniture ❤
So sad that he was an only child. You think he would have sold the house and belongings to the church? Someone could be living here! Thank you Leslie and Danny! The picture of the little girl eas at her First Communion, a Holy Sacrament. This man may have been a widower or divorcee, and later became a priest. In America, there are different denominations of religion (Protestant, Evangelical, Lutheran, Episcopalian, etc.), that some pastors can be married. But Catholic Priests cannot be married.
Maybe the next priest lives there?
Hola desde españa me encantan tus videos
This was a great exploration. As always great care was taken to piece together the story of Antonio. The living room was so beautiful and it was definitely a time capsule. Antonio definitely took great care of everything that he touched. This was a very inspirational exploration. Can't wait to see the next one. ❤
so much rooms and furniture for one person... the decay is a pity. thanks for this lovely video. i like that Lesly and Danny always fall in love to all this details in their documents.
Beautiful place. Thank you both and we love ❤️ you too. Hello from Arizona 😊
another awesome video , thanks guys !!!!!
It is again a winderful video with an interesting story.I love your little chat on tje couch, and i had to laugh about your synchron reaction about the empty bar in the cupboard.
Lep video, pozdrav iz Srbije ❤
A great exploration, as usual, guys! Wonderful rugs, tapestry and paintings! The old furniture is exquisite! So sad to see this nice house rot away!
Your voice shows the respect and reverence you have for these beautiful homes and the families that once lived in them.
This video does not disappoint, thank you.
Awesome video thank you ❤
Hi Lesley and Danny, very good tour through this marker in history as what is precious here is also rare because the new era of our world today looks sterile with things that are utilized are hidden, not beautiful displays of honoring cultures and traditions.Nowadays the main displays are a lot of technology apparatus. Time travel is it for me, sometimes I think of new inventions that come 5-10 years later, but yet my other side is so drawn to immersing into peeking in different eras, the furniture is nicely crafted, and designed, but he was apparently single but had visitors and he went abroad also, like he was content enough. Always be careful getting to and in these abandoned places💫🌎👍💖🥰❣️
Can't wait!!!
I love the crocheted table cloth
Sukses selalu Danny...semoga acaramu bermanfaat bagi kami yg srlalu ingin tahu ...🤗🤗
Hey Lesley, thank you for sharing this exceptional explore in that still wonderfully preserved Spanish house. - The living room with the beautiful furniture and a lot of probably nice and valuable antiques was my favourite room. Also the nicely furnished dining room and some bedrooms were still beautifully intact and nice to see. - I was also quite surprised to see all these tapestries on the walls. It really is a pity to see these treasures just left abandoned behind to decay! - If this former owner really was a priest, I totally share your doubts about that, because I also couldn't really see the slightest clue for that. Of course there were some religious pictures and rosaries visible, but in older houses, especially in southern European countries, this is anyways quite common. A very interesting fact is, that you even couldn't find any bible and some other high end theological literature, which would indicate a proof, that the former owner was really a priest. That will remind a mystery whatsoever!
Wonderful camerawork and very constructive conversations with Danny about various details you were focussing on your attention. I love that so much, because Danny has a good eye for items, which might slip your attention. And - it was also so lovely to see him sitting together with you on that beautiful ornate sofa. - A very interesting explore, which was a great pleasure to watch!
I am already looking forward to your next explore adventure.
Stay safe, peace and kindest regards.
Great video. Thank you guys ❤
Gostei muito dessa postagem. Obrigada com legenda em português.
Hello from Texas!
Thanks to Danny and Leslie... ❤❤❤❤❤
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
Spaniard here, I wanted to comment on 9:00. Yes, that's indeed a Spanish flag, it's totally normal for us not to include the emblem in our flags.
I don't really know why, never thought about it. I guess it's because we had three different emblems from 1977 to 1981, but it's just an hypothesis.
The photo of the girl in wedding-like attire, she is attending her first communion. So they were Catholics, which makes sense being Spain. The small crystal bowl with claw tongs is a sugar bowl, using sugar cubes😊
Me encantas tus videos
Awesome video, such beautiful tapestries!!
Great video
Beautiful home
Eow, this is gonna be another great exploration!
Estou encantada com as relíquias ❤❤❤
I have that same tapestry with the elk or stag and other similar ones. My parents bought them in either the early 70s or late 60s.
I would love to live in this house, it's so beautiful inside! Definitely nicer than my house 😮❤❤❤❤
The ornaments, tapestries and furniture were probably his parents --he would keep everything as it was.
Little girl is pictured in a first holy communion dress
Un saludo desde España
Absolutely gorgeous 😍
13:34 It was very common in the sixties and seventies in Spain to decorate the walls with small rugs or tapestries with very colorful drawings.
Everything looks so familiar to me. I think you are in my home region, Galicia. The greenery, the granite house…
I have a First Communion picture too 😂.
12:18 San Pancracio
This house looks like it’s been abandoned longer than 20 years i love the Mexican painting and the sofas 👍👍🇺🇸
Very cool 😎👍 house stuck in the 70s is ok I wouldn't change anything
I love the furniture ! 😱
How no one is claiming it and no let it rot with humidity .? ☹️
Good video 🥰
Belle exploration
It is indeed called a hall table in entry ways or narrow walkways
My mom called it a hutch
I agree with you it said there's are people that can use that stuff
Cree lmevstonn el anillo y el reloj😮
