the game boy light was released exclusively in japan. plus it's only a game boy pocket with a lit screen. but if you want to go down that route, you could also say the same about all the special editions of the different game boys. like the Toyota Game Boy Pocket for instance

@@togera77 By your logic, the GameBoy Pocket shouldn't have been shown. It's just an original GameBoy but smaller. Having a front-light didn't make the GameBoy Light a design iteration but rather a physical change that improved on the system. Your example of the Toyota GameBoy was simply a shell aesthetic change rather than changing something about the core experience of using the device

I love the Nintendo GameBoy family and knew people that had one of each of these besides the micro. I think I saw the Nintendo GameBoy Micro at stores for a short time then the Nintendo DS replaced it and that was that. They even sold the other GameBoys but not the micro once the DS came out near me even the versions before the micro were sold. I love seeing these amazing gaming consoles unboxed and shown. I loved the Nintendo GameBoy SP that was a amazing Nintendo Handheld. Cool video. ^_^

My micro box is different. It is a taller box with a window so you could see the faceplates. Came with paperwork, green camo face, fire face, charger, the micro and a jewelry pouch for the micro. And a little tool for taking off the faceplate.
