I will say in Sonic 2 Tails was i big fan boy who was shy and scared but in 3 he feels more confident and happy to be part of the family and is why i like Tails a lot more in this one!
You'd be surprised how much being tired can affect your thoughts on a movie. The first time I saw Guardians of the Galaxy, I thought it was SO boring! I was partly following asleep. But that's the thing, I was just tired. I watched it again years later and absolutely loved it! I'll never go see a movie if I'm tired anymore. I've learned it can ruin the experience for myself.
Always remember that movies are made to be enjoyed. Yes, you can hyper analyze films but just go into it knowing that will not enjoy films that way. If you want to enjoy more movies, watch them with an open mind and just let them tell you the story they want. That’s why critics are typically not happy with movies. They look for the bad things so only focus on them. Lesson for life.
I get what you mean and I think a similar thing is happening to me. I went into this movie with a huge amount of hype, a certain set of expectations and a rough idea of how I imagined things were going to play out, but the actual movie unfolded so wildly differently from how I imagined it would, that it's almost like I spent half the movie experiencing whiplash from what I was expecting vs what was actually happening on screen haha. But after letting it sit in my mind for a while and re-watching some of the scenes through people's low quality phone recordings on youtube, I've come to better appreciate the movie for what it is, and I do like it overall. I think sometimes I kind of get caught up in a whirlwind of hype for stuff like this and I need some time to let it sit before deciding "Ok, you know what, I still like what they did there and that was pretty cool, even if it wasn't exactly what I was expecting".
Done watching the movie, gotta say best $5 I've spent for this experience. In my opinion, everything felt really balanced, everyone had their fair share of screen time, the action scenes were amazing, & I had a really good time watching this from beginning to end. Honestly, when I played the Movie Shadow DLC & got a glimpse of how Keanu Reeves was going to play as Shadow, I was bit iffy on it. That all changed when I saw the movie. Keanu was *breathtaking* as Shadow. I'm still mind blown that he was offered so many roles for other big films like Marvel but chose to be a part of Sonic, respect. I will gladly watch this movie again with you, our friends, the tamers, and everyone we know once this hits on Blu-Ray & streaming services.
It's gotten better for me after each rewatch. I had trouble watching it the first time, but after that it just got better and better. It's been that way with each of these movies for me. No idea why.
When I didnt compare it to the game, I understood that alot of people got to learn about the story of Shadow and thats what warmed my heart just like when the game warmed my heart when the heroes teamed up to save the world ❤🔥
I think something that is hard for us Sonic fans to cope with is that the Sonic video games are rated T. While these movies are Rated PG which is sorta like a Rated E video game rating. So they are made for a younger audience in general. So the movies won’t ever reach the dark or edgy levels of the games that we want.
You know what, you all are correct. I guess the point I was trying to make was that The Sonic Video games are made for a different target audience, typically an older audience that is around pre-teen age. While The movies are made for a much younger age group. But yes, there hasn’t been any rated T games. Thanks for the correction.
I haven't seen it yet i need watch it as soon as possible as a sonic fan 🤔 hmmmm i Really want to see it so badly they keep showing the trailer for promo on youtube.
She's seeing the light.

Good job rewatching sonic the hedgehog 3 again
Glad to see you like it more than you thought. A lot I didn’t agree and don’t think was fair in your last review.
Just like a Sonic game, the more you play it, the better it gets!

Sonic games are rated E and E-10+, not T.
My man, I don’t think there’s ever been a T Rated Sonic.
Even Shadow The Hedgehog, the game with literal guns and soft cursing, was still only E10+
There's never been a t rated sonic game?
