  • Jelani Woods transferred to Virginia from Oklahoma State before the 2021 season, and he made a big impact on the Cavaliers in his first year. Woods was First-Team All-ACC and led all tight ends in the conference with 598 receiving yards. He finished the year with 44 catches, eight of which went for a touchdown.     If he can improve his route running & footwork, he's going to quite literally be unstoppable, especially in the red zone.

      He’s a tight end he doesn’t really need crisp routes.. as long as he has good IQ and can find open spots in the middle of the field he’ll be elite. He’s a colt now btw 💪🏽

    Everyone is talking about Wydermyer, Kolar and McBride but this kid Woods is EXTRA SPECIAL!! Great hands, uses his big body to box out, breaks tackles and the YAC is off the charts. If he has a good combine you're gonna start hearing his name.... 3 yrs from now he will be the best TE from this class... Mark my words!!

    Would like to see him come to Dallas. Hes a mismatch on every play, even in the NFL. Im not sure anyone could guard him. He will be a game changer in the NFL.

      @@Jayzan-mt4gl and now there’s talk of him being a first round pick. He’s getting lots of top 30 visits(including Dallas OP) which means some teams might view him as a first round pick. Plus there are plenty of great players that didn’t go in the first round historically. I hope the titans draft him real bad.

    What I like most is the fact. That even at such height. His physique and athleticism allows. Him to take big hits to his lower body. He still looks more of a football player than basketball. Even tho he's closer to 7ft than 6

    Born October 9, 1998. Played high school football for the Cedar Grove Saints (GA). Played college football first for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, then for the Virginia Cavaliers. Drafted #73 overall by the Indianapolis Colts. This is my final entry of highlighting the 2022 NFL draftees. Normally, I would stop on the morning of the NFL Hall of Fame Game. But due to a hospitalization, I was unable to do that, hence my going to Opening Day of the season. I just want to wish Jelani and all of the other rookies that made it the best of luck as the regular season begins. I will pick it back up the day after the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.     I'm only half way through the highlight and already want this dude on my Ravens. Lamar needs another TE as Andrews is our only true threat in the pass game. Now I haven't seen his blocking yet but that's what they said he was before he transferred. So I'm sure he has that down as a TE. Boyle is too beat up and has never been a receiving te. This dude would be a huge upgrade for the run and pass game. Don't sleep on him!
