I have the middle spec Surface Laptop Go and I really enjoy it for what I need out of a small form laptop. I was also able to pick it up on sale for the same price as the base spec model which makes it a really good value IMO.
Laptop Go 2 : 1536 x 1024 (148 PPI) 15.6" Laptop : 1920 x 1200 (145 PPI) The density of the pixels is measured in pixels per inch. PPI determines the physical size of each pixel. If both Laptop Go 2 and a 15.6" Laptop roughly have 145 pixels per inch, does that mean if these two screens were to compared side by side, the FONT would be the same size on both displays? This is important for people who read lots of text and do word processing. Can you do a video to demonstrate this?
I have a Surface Laptop 4 and I want to order replacement keys but I'm wondering if the keyboards are the same before I order some Surface Laptop Go keys to fit in my Surface Laptop 4.
Yes, that is exactly what I'm thinking. I have a Surface Laptop 4 and I want to order replacement keys but I'm wondering if the keyboards are the same before I order some Surface Laptop Go keys to fit in my Surface Laptop 4.
You mean the tablet Surface Go 3? If so, I think you can find some good deals for the Surface Laptop 4 (I see them all the time in my area). With the Go 3 you will need to also purchase a keyboard and should upgrade from 4gb of RAM. Go 3 makes a great secondary device, but I would not let it my primary device. Find a deal on the Surface Laptop 4
Thank you for this review! Explained everything that is important to me. I have decided on the surface 4. I’ll be using it for web browsing, watching Netflix, playing minecraft/Roblox and doing online school. Now I needa decide between a iPad mini 6 or the iPad Air 4
THANK YOU. I make these review to help. If for note taking, I do recommend Air. More surface room to type and storage sizes/prizes aren't that far off. If just looking to read and use for a touch experience (games/social media), the mini is best.
I’ve had Mini 6 but the jelly scrolling kept me from having a premium feeling. Screen also too small. Go for the Air or wat for Air 5 or upgraded Mini Pro this year
Just ordered myself a Laptop Go on the Black Friday sale. As a college student, the Laptop 4 was $1050 in my favorite color so I just went with the 8gb Laptop Go for $550. I won't have as good of a screen resolution, but at least the Laptop Go is a little bit lighter which is a plus.
@@JaimeJMarrero I swear that I might've still been considering one of those bare-looking Lenovo's if it weren't for the ice blue color I saw on the Go that reminded me that it's not just about the specs and my budget, but the feel and the color as well.
I saw someone in my class who has that surface laptop model with the fabric, and please, do not get it. It will wear and get brown over time. You’re better off going with the other models with the metallic finish. Its cleaner that way.
Doesn't appreciate laptop4 key board texture, would there be any restrictions for surface laptop go to install .exe or apps compared to laptop4? both of them could upgraded to Windows 11, have that make difference for the performance?
You can download all the same apps and software on both machines, but on the GO you will need to remove a security setting that only allows you to download Microsoft App Store apps (for security reasons). Windows 11 is rolling out in a staggered pace and mine still isn't eligible :(
@@JaimeJMarrero Thanks a lot for your fast response. Back in my region, GO i5 8G 128G cost around USD600 and laptop4 AMD 13.5", Ryzan5, 8, 128 cost around USD850. The price were not big difference considering the weight, size for the performance and cpu. The only thing really bother me is the texture of Alcantera from 4 cause in subtropical area, it might not make sense to use this kind of texture. Other wise I'll go directly to 4, go seems better deal for me though...
@@starlui2661 Yes, I don't really like the fabric either. I like the all-metal keyboard on the GO, but the screen on the 4 is higher quality. But, a good deal is a GOOD deal.
@@JaimeJMarrero eventually, I booked surface laptop 4 considering the higher resolution of the screen and hand writing capability that laptop go only has touch screen function. Price wise still acceptable and just have to buy additional protection cover on the key board which could prevent the dirt or hand sweat.
A Windows lover will never go for Macbook as Macbook user will stay away from Windows. The OS is more important over look&feel. You just gotta be able to work without frustrations😂
i got a laptop 4 today for $700 at best buy pretty nice speaker are great screen is good the ONLY thing i hate is the mush on the keyboard the fabric i dont mind if i could change the fabric that will be better i need the light keyboard and you can upgrade the ssd thats why i went with it
Do not buy this crap if you want to use a 2nd screen the display output signal is not reliable. The great suggestion from MS was to try a wireless display.

Solid choice! Its a great size and well built.

different, they might fit but will look off
What about keyboard size? Do they same size?, I mean for key skins

Yea, it’s the only thing I don’t truly like, but you sorta forget it’s there.
BTW, the Black and Gold models are all metal finishes

Can you help me..how to restart surface after 2 months ?
Restart??? Can u be a bit more clear, just press the power button its going to start isnt it
Will be buying the surface laptop 4 today will cost around £1300 for the 15" model

It is a choice considering the low price when the laptop go2 and laptop 5 are released. Your video was helpful.

Nice comparison video. But how does this compare to using a Mac? Do they feel more or less the same? Are you running Windows 11?
They feel the same...until you open it up 😆. No Windows 11, I have a program that is not available for that yet, same reason I can run it on an M1
