I can not thank you enough for explaining all the adjustments. My stove was not being used correctly. It was wasting so many pellets and I had to shut down to clean out box every other if not every day. My flame was ALWAYS HUGE. Now it's a small white flame and I have not had to shut it down going on 5 days!!!! Thanks again very helpful 👍🏻👍🏻
Did you leave your settings at 20 20 or did you adjust them. I just got the master forge 140xl. I have it at the 20 20 any advice would help thanknyou.
I've used mine for three years now and after repeated attempt's to use the wi-fi app , two different ones, I finally gave up! The electrical engineering is junk in that area. The stove has performed well other than that though. You can't change the stove from Eco 2 to Eco 1 unless you turn it all the way off and let the display say good bye , that's another sucky thing. My biggest complaint about the stove is that you have to remove the side panel and press a button on the back of the display to get it to link to Wi-Fi .What genius came up that one !!!! I almost wore the screws out on mine before I finally gave up on it all together. Also the placement and size of the display is terrible , especially for older folks like me. The newer ones are in a different local now. I wish they could get the Wi-Fi bugs worked out because when ,however briefly, it would work you can change from Eco2 to Eco1 without turning the stove off. It's also nice if your on your way home to turn it on and come home to a nice warm home. The App was China developed and that may be part of the problem. I did try two different ones but both failed me.
Update on this, it finally gave up during 0 degree Temps, after less then 2 months it broke, had to take it out and bring it back to lowes thankfully they agreed to switch it out and this one has been better so far (only been a month)
It depends on the size of your home or space you are trying to heat. You could start on p1 and if you find your self sitting next to an open window just to cool off a bit turn it down to a lower p setting lol. Most of dialing in your stove for your space is trial and error. Keep messing with it. You’ll figure out what works best for you.
So this is in my basement and I have a propane boiler. I’m using mine to help cut cost of my propane. What do u recommend I set my p1-p4 settings at? Should I set the fan to 20 and the other number to 20 20 on p1 then 20 15 then 20 10 then 20 5? Or do u recommend the settings be different than that
I find that i have to shut down and clean every other day which kind of defeats the purpose of it having a three bag Hopper. My burn box fills up and overflows and doesn't burn all the pellets. I just put all the settings on 20 20 with p1234
So I have the stove in the video, I have a question about the smoke coming out when the blower starts, the smoke comes into the home but not out through the exhaust. Is that something that can be adjusted through the settings?
@@alvarose5969 if you havent gone throught the burn in process yet that it normal. the first time you run it, it will smoke a bit because it needs to burn off any oil from the manufacturing process and cure the paint on all the surfaces that get hot. it will smoke a little, and it will smell a lot. the smoke will go away after about 10-15 minutes, the smell will fill your house. some people like to do the first burn before they bring the stove into their house to avoid this. i think the instrustion tell you to burn it on p1 for 90 minutes for the break in process. so the best i can tell you is to open a lot of windows and use some fans to try to blow the smell ouside. if the smell coming from your stove smells like wood, then you definitely have a problem and should probably return the stove. let me know how you make out.
@@alvarose5969 here is a video of mine during its first burn. Hopefully you’re not getting any more smoke than this. ruclips.net/user/shortsw0mkcaDh2MU?feature=shared
mine did that when I first first got it. it you look from the side is it actually smoke coming from the door and paint and rising and getting taken with the blowers air flow? and does it smell super chemical like? if all answers are yes you can just run it and open a window with a fan blowing it outside and try not to breathe it. and keep an eye on it! it should stop in 15 20 min. 30 tops. if it just smells like burning pellets then it's not what I'm describing@@alvarose5969
sonis the blower fan the external one that blows the heated air into the surrounding area? I am confused on which of the fans is the external one on the front of the stove! please help 🥺 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻
I don't know if you have any ideas but when I get to the screen to change between eco1 and eco2 I cannot select between them when I press the clock. It only will highlight Eco2. Customer service is non existant for this stove.
also if i had a 2 floor 4 bedroom house with kitchen living room and laundry room with garage and utility room all open fornthe heat to flow into, and its decently large do you have a rough idea of what you would run it at. also kine isnt the same one. its identical except fot the control panel screen on thebritht side of urs. on mineits in the top in the back peeling out from behind the stove, just behind the hopper door liked up with the flue. other than that its identical to yours. the screen even looks exactly the same, just in a differnt spot is literally the only difference!
trying to heat that much space, and im sure you have hallways that will limit the free flow of air, you definitely wat to run it on p1, and also use fans on the floor to blow cold air toward the stove. when you do that the fans blow the cold air along the floor toward your heat source and that low cold air will be replaced with warmer air up higher and it will create a constant flow of cold air toward the stove and warm air away from it. try this for a couple hours and see if you notice a difference. also, your fighting a losing battle trying to heat your garage with warm air form the house. even if its insulated, all it will do keeping the door to the garage open is waste warm air you could be using to warm you living space.
Can you help me? I cannot figure out how to adjust the blower fan.. I keep trying to make adjustments on the main control but nothing changes. I also have the thermostat set but it just continues heating way past the set temperature.. thank you so much!
did you use the phone app to make adjustments previously? If you did I had this same problem. and even if you didnt use the phone app. try doing a full shutdown. press and hold the power button until the display says "switching off" and let it go through the complete shutdown process until the display says "goodbye" it will take 15-20 minutes for it to go through the whole process. then turn the master power switch on the back of the stove to off for about a minute to be safe. then turn master power switch back on and restart the stove. if for some reason your stove wont shut down when pressing and holding the power button you can use the main power switch to cut power to the stove and shut it down that way.
Thank you so much I’m going to try this. Yes I used the app and I’m going to disconnect it. Last night I was making changes from the stove itself, but it didn’t seem like they were working.
That worked! Now another question is there a way for the stove to run quieter? I don’t mind the noise of the fan, but it’s always the same volume. It seems like when I adjust the settings now I can control the thermostat, but the fan noise continues 24/7. I know I have to play with it but I’m trying to understand blower fan and pellet drop and why there are so so many adjustments. I do have it on P4 and eco 1. The stove is going to be my primary heat source although I have back up heat . my house is only eight 900 ft.². Thanks again.!!!
the worst stove i have ever had this junk has gone through 2 igniters and im waiting for the third one now i just bought it october 2023 instead of the manufacturer replacing the stove they just tell you the 1 year warranty is over even though the stove odviously had a issue burning out igniters not happy

This video was super helpful, if you’re looking for ideas for another video a cleaning video would be awesome for us pellet stove beginners lol
I set mine like he said, and it works perfect
Mine has gave me issues since day one. And now its e1 and e2 and everything is working as it should. Only had it for a month so far

sonis the blower fan the external one that blows the heated air into the surrounding area? I am confused on which of the fans is the external one on the front of the stove! please help 🥺 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻
“F” is for your hot air distribution blower fan motor and “S” is your fire box air feed fan.
