Hi I am a violinist who just started taking piano lessons and bumped into your channel. You are very talented as a teacher and as a broadcaster. I am learning a lot from you. Thank YOU
I love your style in these videos! It's not often that I laugh out loud during history videos! I loved the way that you had towers for London and Paris and then a sausage on a fork for Munich! 😀
Thank you so much for the Playlists and over all content you made. History, general information, exercises, theory, techniques all in one place. Best channel on youtube. I can't thank you enough 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
I really your channel and I have subscribed and turned on the notification bar to get to every single one of your brief history of.... videos! Your voice is really nice and you dont stutter(not like other youtubers do.....) ! Thank you for all! My favourite video is 'a brief history of Beethoven'
Well, the movie is highly fictional with the exception of the music. It a very clever take but entirely implausible since (for instance) the one who darkly commissioned the Requim was NOT Salieri.. In fact, that man has been identified and was a mediocre piano player and amateur composer who wanted to take credit for having written something so presumably lovely and had the money to do so as well. Again, extremely clever to make that person be Salieri. Also Salieri went completely mad by the end of his life and ANY claim he made at that time forward should simply be ignored. Mozart did have an infectious laugh apparently and I am very pleased that that was used so well in 'Amadeus'. Though, as I am to understand it, there was only made just one mention of his laugh by a contemporary and that is it. Superbly done. Perfectly cast. I love that movie. Thank you for reading. I wrote too much, I know :)
Fun fact:Mozart was writing his Lacrimosa on his deathbed but he died after he wrote the first 8 bars of it and then it was finished off by one of his pupils
I love sharing your videos with my children for music appreciation. They're so much more interesting to watch than trying to get them to read a book (books definitely have their place). But for us, your videos are awesome! I only wish you omitted the "French" language for younger audiences. Keep up the great work!
A lot of Pop musicians look up to Mozart for inspiration partly for his framboyant lifestyle and partly as a freelance musician they can relate to. In the 18th century composers had steady employment with an upperclass patron or a church as a choirmaster or an organist. Mozart hated being bossed around. There was no mention of Mozart's sons becoming well-known musicians. Bach had 3 sons who became famous, particularly the last 2.Hayden's influence on Mozart is undisputed. Another less frequently mentioned name who was a famous French composer and a violin virtuoso who influenced Mozart was (Le Chevalier) St. George (being half Black). During Mozart's visit to Paris they supposedly met and after listening to a piece by St George, Mozart wrote a famous Symphony Concertante with a difficult passage taken from a piece by St. George.
Holy. You are awesome at explaining. I discovered you yesterday and now I've the impression that I must watch all your videos haha. Congrats! And greatings from Spain.
I would highly recommend a book called "the lives and times of the great composers" written by Michael Steen, it's an incredibly informative, and interesting book all about the lives of the great composers like Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, Chopin, Liszt, Schubert etc. It's full of factual, sourced information about their lives. It also tells you abut things that happened at at the time like cultural changes and war. Very fascinating
Right oNNNNN!!! Your Channel is very interesting and poetic. I like it a whole lot. Too bad we can't interact, in real time, on this. (Smile)............Keep on KEEPING ON. Cheers from Toronto, Canada.
Hi Allysia ! I really enjoyed your video. I was wondering where you took all this information ? I would like your sources, because I will make a project on the life of Mozart for my musical history class. Thanks for helping me out !
Hi Piano TV!I think you do a great job on this! You make this fun, and on top of that, I love Mozart, he is the most incredible musical genius ever. there are a few who are very super genius, but something about Mozart is just beyond ridiculously genius.I presume you play the piano, I am curious though, do you paly any additional insturments? I played the violin :)
I left the video cause i already knew a lot about Mozart but went back when i was like "wait, did she actually use a pic of wolfs in a gang?" which i thought was pretty funny. I ended up learning new things so i'm probably going to end subscribing if the other videos are the same.
Let's not forget the big conspiracy theory that Mozart might have joined the Freemasons in order to get support for his financial difficulties, but ended up being killed by them when he wanted to get away from them... That's why people think Mozart put so many masonic references in the Magic Flute and also wrote masonic funeral music!! Just thought I'd mentioned it...
I do enjoyed this vid. Mozart history is incredibly interesting, no matter how many times I hear it read about it. FYI: The pictures that are supposed to be Constanze and Wolfgang are actually Nannerl and Wolfgang.
But during Mozart's lifetime, Salzburg did NOT belong to Austria, and the term "Austria" at that time had a different meaning. Legally, only the modern states of Upper and Lower Austria formed the Archduchy of Austria. All the other Habsburg dominions, such as Tyrol, Carinthia or Breisgau in the then Further Austria (which is today part of Switzerland, France and Baden-Württemberg), remained legally distinct estates within the Holy Roman Empire. The name of the Archduchy was often used to denote the Habsburgs (House Austria) and because of that, the entirety of the lands they ruled was referred to as "Austria" as well, but in legal terms, the different principalities remained distinct entities. It was only in 1804 and thus after Mozart's death that the Habsburgs legally united all their dominions into one state called "Austria", thus transferring the name of the Archduchy to the newly created Empire. One year later, in 1805, Salzburg became Austrian, in 1810 it became Bavarian and 1816 finally Austrian. While this video is not about politics, you started it, so I had to reply. ;-)

Keep up the awesome work.
I love listening to this chick. She certainly knows her stuff and she's gorgeous ...wow!
You forgot about the funny fact that mozart was afraid of the trumpet but btw I love your vid and I learned a lot thanks
Are you serious
Yeah he was extremely afraid of the trumpet that he fainted after hearing it.
You could search it on google if you want proof.
Oh my goodness I don't wanna laugh
Outsider I use to deathly afraid of the trumpet and every time I heard on I would turn pale, panic and get sick
He also supposedly hated the flute
Your edits are amazing hahahahaha I love it.

It was in Vienna, not Venice, where the Archbishop became upset with him.
Keyboard lesson could be on harpsichord and piano that type of computer existed there then.
Legends never die
Like if you are Juice WRLD fan
The puns were even better than the information. Both were great though!!
❤❤😮

Puns galore
I was *not* expecting to learn that Mozart liked fart jokes! 😂
The archbishop was actually in Vienna. His mother in law insisted Mozart sign a prenup, though his wife tore it up.
That Salierie guy murdered him. I saw it in the movie. And he confessed at least twice, one was a priest, like the movie
it is Constanze
there was a financial recession in Vienna in 1787
i know
i know he shouldve lived longer. he couldve made more music.
misserere has 6 voices and it's kind of repetitive but it's an beutiful pice
2:30 I think you meant 1762.

His Name has a different meaning than in english

@@abrahampalmer1153 It's like every time someone does something different and other people get inspired it's considered ahead of it's time.
Isn’t it true Mozart learn the basic chords first ?? Please look around that’s what I remember learning in high school and college

Salzburg is still a part of austria, Salzburg is a city and a province of austria, austria is not a new country. 🤗❤️
