9:38 i just love how the sound of the p-51 barely overpowers the whistle of the A-10, and the other jets are quiet as if they're just listening to the sound.
They should try to do one with P-51, F-86, F-4, F-100, F-15, F-16, F-35 and F-22 to show time line of fighter development. I don't know if anyone has an F-100.
I like how the A-10 was the only one who had six long scenes for the solo flying part and also the only one who was talked about in the background by the guy AND ALSO THE ONLY ONE YOU CAN HEAR TAKING PICTURES OF, AND ALSO HAD A FREE SNEAK PEAKK OF ITS 30MM GAU-8 AVENGER CANNON IN ACTION
Should have had a P-47 with those because in World War II it was considered the tank Buster and it would blown perfectly within a 10 the modern counterpart
A10s used to be stationed here in the UK a few years ago, I always used to see them over the English countryside, usually in pairs, always ducking and diving, weaving around. I really miss them now they have all gone back to the US!
watching this again and even as someone who isn't american but knows well about war history and weaponry in general, watching the oldie flying with his grandkids hits on an emotional way.

I've heard that about the A10, that the sound of it is terrifying to our enemies. We just heard that sound and it sounded fantastic and I am grateful for the freedom it provides. Long live the A10 Warthog.
Enemies get nervous when they hear roar of fast jets high above... but terrified when hearing the angry whine of those TF-34s powering the "hawg" to a strafing dive of 20mm upon them.
This feels like watching a family of warrior walking on a street, with a retire grandfather taking the lead and plus his full of fighting experience son and two new born still in train grand children.
It was probably loaded with blanks, cause the GAU-8 is literally the whole reason the A-10 is as legendary as it is. Doing an airshow like this and _not_ having the A-10 fire the GAU-8 would be the same as not having the A-10 at all.
Love it! In 2006 they did a diamond formation at Hill Airforce base except it was the P51 Mustang, F22, F18 Super Hornet and an F4 Fantom. The A10 is one cool plane. It survives war and the government.

One day, the A-10 needs approval to do a *live fire demonstration* on a bunch of dummy targets (at a safe distance from everyone) so people can hear the almighty *BRRRRRRRT* in person.
I got a ride in a P51 at an airshow in the 90's. Don't know of any relatives who were in the Airforce. This always makes me cry....maybe someone is chanelling through me.....

The F-35 and F-22 are barely staying in the sky matching the Mustang airspeed lol
They all staying slow for the A-10. P-51 can get up to 500mph the A-10 around 350.

Having the f22 raptor going vertical right in front of you is something I’ll never forget the raw sound and you can feel the power in your chest
The guns on the P-51 could still solve around 800-900 problems per minute.

It does solve practical problems, but the A-10 says "if that don't work, use more gun."
