Going like the clappers. I'm getting on another day soon too, might see you there. I've got some tyres on now so I'm looking forward to seeing what the difference is
I'll probably be at the next track attack in the Micra for a little series I've got planned!! Would be good to see how the Ka goes with the new tyres on, should be a weapon with more grip
One of the many ones you missed 😛 yeah was while I was driving. Saw your post about doing the sprint there, looked awesome!! And well done for winning the class 🙂
@@LeadFootash23 thanks man! Wasnt an easy fight, was up against a competent s2000 and another mr2 plus my brakes were/still are fucked from the day in this vid 🤣🤣🤣 I'd call it a draw tbh
I've been saving the Micra until I start my new job so that I have more time to do a proper series on it and drop a video a week at a higher production value. It won't be long now before I get stuck in to it properly, it'll be worth wait I promise 😁
Thanks for uploading this, I will most likely be at the next one so it's good to know what to expect. Despite being in an i30n it'll be my first track day so you'll probably fly past me :P
It's just going and getting the experience that matters mate. A lot of people never even give it a shot. It'll be great fun in an I30N but don't be shocked if you get passed by slower and lighter cars. It's so tight and twisty that track that the lighter cars just dominate and power doesn't matter so much, I've been in a few different cars, my Civic type r being the fastest but heaviest but I was definitely faster in the Ignis . Your car will totally come alive on a bigger track though like Oulton park or something. Three Sisters is super forgiving though so it's definitely a good track to gain some experience on.
@@LeadFootash23 sounds good! It's definitely not light at about 1500kg the chonk! Went karting at three sisters last night and I see what you mean, I'll be surprised if I get out of 3rd gear but I'm expecting to have fun regardless. Downside I have atm is the cost of insurance, it definitely seems wise to get something cheaper for trackdays so that isn't needed
@@BenCrookx yeah there's always that risk that something might happen but as long as you drive within your limits and slowly build up rather than trying to go flat out straight away it'll be absolutely fine 🙂
It's from the same day, it's just an unedited version as a few people messaged me asking to post the full session 🙂 Going to be booking another day for next month, just been having a few issues at work which has stopped me from booking the next one 😟
I think as a driver i've probably got a bit faster since i had the Micra but overall i think the Micra will have been a bit quicker just because it had a lot less weight in it and a lot more grip
You are giving too many inputs on steering while turning just keep it stable as possible and give inputs as the tightness of the curve increase gradually the vehicle will be more stable wobbling the steering like this might get you into trouble juat my humble suggestion bro anyways it was fun
The POV on these videos are sick
Great driving & perfectly placed pov camera angle!
Thanks 😀
Looks like tons of fun. You even caught the lancer lol. I gotta visit a racetrack sometime too.

@@LeadFootash23 theres one on this morning if you can make it
Makes me want to get my Ignis back out of storage and continue modding it
Where exactly is the revlimiter set ? 7000rpm ? Wich tires do you use? Nice Track video :) Greetings from Germany
Just the stock rev limiter, I think it's just below 7k and the tyres were Yokohama Advan AD08RS
The one session I missed!? Damn man looks like you had tons of fun

How does your hood scoop fit to your bonnet mate?
It's just tiger sealed down
What's done to her?
Just coilovers, Gizfab panhard bar and Yokohama Ad08 tyres. Other than that it is completely stock
Seems faster than the micra .. but time wise looks like it isn't;

Just what a I was thinking.
Untill I bring mr 2zz ..
No doubt!! They're a great car on that track too
Wot was the lap times ? It was too boring to watch all the way through.
