I mean its hard to replace that iconic camera design. I have both s23 and iphone 15 pro and i can say that iphone pros design wspecially onthe camera in waay better than on s23.

I just made this exact upgrade to the 15 pro from the 11. It’s really nice but if you can wait a few more months for the 16, I would. Battery isn’t too impressive

What is really an upgrade here? Apple has kept the display at 60Hz to protect its Pro line which is a shame. They added a couple arguably useless buttons and took away the practical mute switch in the process. I’m sure the camera is better but not by much. The color options aren’t even good. This is just a very safe, iterative update in a long line of safe, iterative updates. Maybe that’s just where we’re at with smartphones now, but I would feel a little cheated if I were “upgrading” from an iPhone 12 to this.

I feel like the action button should just be left to the pro model. Otherwise there isn’t much difference between the normal 16 and the 16 pro besides an extra camera and the pro motion display

@@108mtsan if you look at the normal iPhone 15 and the 15 pro, you get 1 more gpu core and that it plus I also said the pros have pro motion displays and better camera system. I just think for a “pro” phone there should be a more distinctive difference between them
@@aarondavis7741 I hear you, but a 120hz display is definitely a big difference imo. I’ve been using a refurbished 64gb iPhone XR for the past 5 years and it’s done me well. My only issue now is the 64gb, so I figured if I gotta buy a new phone, might as well go all out and get the best one, so I’ll be good for another 5 years (hopefully more) the trick with electronics is not buying the upgraded model every year. That way when you do upgrade, that upgrade actually feels like an upgrade.

I'm always going to wonder, just how long apple will get away with that exact same camera design from the iPhone 11 pro and max. I know that it's slightly been increased in size, each year. Although 14 & 15 seem identical to me in size. But I just think they should change something about it. I heard the reason behind that particular design and three lens is because each lens is exactly the same distance from each other. So going from one camera lens to the other will be very smooth. That's probably the number 1 reason they kept this design. If they insist on the three camera lens design like the fidget spinner, at least turn it around. Rotate it by 90 degrees. Or 180 degrees or even 270 degrees. Change it up a little. The change from 12 to 13 regular iPhones was funny. They just moved the other lens to the right. Why can't apple do that with the pro lineup? It's about to be a sixth iphone in a row, where we've seen the exact same design on the pro line up and we might just likely, or should I say, just certainly see it with the 17 pro line up too. That's 6-7 iPhones in a row, with the exact same camera lens design. Change it up please. Rotate it, it move the square to the top middle. Do something new to make it look like a brand new design

No, it's definitely not worth it. You will hardly notice any differences. You can think about this in 2-3 years
I went from my 15 pro to a 13 mini. In short, no don’t upgrade. The 13 is a powerhouse and will easily withstand another year or two. The 15 pro was just not convincing to drop $1,000 for so I retuned and got back the 13 mini.

As a sony user, the new capture button is basically boring to me, but to other people that do not use the sony xperia 5V might say its very cool since its a very useful feauture coming to the iphone 16 series if u are going to use an iphone for capturing photos and videos

I’m very excited because I rarely upgrade my phone. I really just don’t care that much about phones, but for the past 5 years, I’ve been using a refurbished iPhone XR, and it’s done me good, but it’s 64gb…. I’ll be grabbing a brand new iPhone 16 pro (possibly max, but I’ll have to see it in person first) with 512gb. I understand there’s cheaper options, but my whole life I’ve bought 1 or 2 brand new iPhones, and that was before “pro” models. I’m talking iPhone 4. So I think it’s time I bite the bullet. The changes going from iPhone XR to iPhone 16 pro (max) I’m positive will be very very noticeable.
