Lindsay is much funnier and more energetic here than I've ever seen her in her own videos. She seems more honest and less restrained. I wish she was like this all the time. I'm dumbfounded by the fact that Micheal Bay found a way to make Transformers riding robo-dinosaurs uninteresting. All the things he did better this time around were negated by it's drawn out plot. This is the worst transformers imo. All of the other movies kept my attention at the very least to gawk at and make fun of. With this movie, it went on for so long that there was nothing to make fun of or appreciate, it was just so god damn boring. Maybe I'm just jaded when it comes to Transformers. 2/10

So many people hate on this movie simply because Michael Bay is doing it. I'm a hardcore transformers fan (seen every series, read every book, played almost every game, and the comics) and I frikin LOVED this movie. Yes, there was some Michael Bay details that I wish weren't in there, but this is the Transformer movie all us *fans* were waiting for! I was so emotionally attached to ALL the characters, both human and autobot. Unlike the first three films, the humans and autobots got almost equal story time on-screen and they WERE ACTUALLY WORKING TOGETHER to fight the enemy (as opposed to them fighting or running away in completely separate factions of the films). I couldn't watch Ratchet die (covered eyes and ears), I loved that Lockdown was in this but hated how evil he was, I was extremely attached to Optimus' conflict on quitting earth altogether, and I did really like seeing the Dinobots even though I was extremely doubtful before. The number one thing I loved: THAT MY THEORY OF THE QUINTESSONS WAS FRIKKIN IN THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (crushed my friend's hand so hard and hyperventilated when Lockdown explained to Optimus that their "creators want change"). Someone behind the scenes provided the research for this movie--I was suprised that the Transformers: Animated cues got down to details that I wouldn't expect in a Bay film (particularly with Lockdown). Can't wait to see it again and I forgive Michael Bay for listening to the fans a little bit (even though Hound was annoying, it was a pleasant to find out that they brought him into this movie so I appreciated that he was there). What will be in the next one? I'm callin' it: Hot Rod, and Galvatron internalization.

You got it reversed. It's because of the Chinese product placement that the movies are huge in China. They love films that have Chinese involvement. Mainly cause that's how the Chinese government doesn't have an excuse to ban it.
Don't forget China also had a reality show on TV last year where the winner won an acting role in Transformers 4. So Paramount has been desperately hyping T4 over there for well over a year now. Hell, Paramount would've had Bay wrap himself in the Chinese flag if they'd thought it would make them a couple million extra at the box office.

God this was great. I could watch this entire review with them doing their dueling Wahlberg impressions (particularly Nostalgia Chick's). Thank God this review is not as long as the movie because that might ruin it.
Ya' know, I needed this. I still think this was a bad movie, but I can least say that Bay did kind of improve.... kind of. I'm honestly more mad at people going on and on about like its the greatest thing that's ever been put on the screen and... you know what? Screw it, I'm going to watch as much Walking Dead as possible and wait patiently for Guardians of the Galaxy.
I thought John Goodman was one of the most enjoyable characters in the whole film. It was great to see Autobots with personality, and why not let one be over the top and whimsical? He was funny yet endearing, and he mingled action with comedy pretty well.
And for the record, there's nothing wrong with trench coat-wearing Transformers! Crosshairs looks awesome!!! Sorry, I'm just partial to the trench/duster look.

To me he really succeeded at being the villain, he left me hating everything that he did (not in an "ugh why does he keep doing that" way but in an "I hate you so much" way), especially killing Ratchet (how Prime felt is exactly how I felt)

God this was great. I could watch this entire review with them doing their dueling Wahlberg impressions (particularly Nostalgia Chick's). Thank God this review is not as long as the movie because that might ruin it.
Ya' know, I needed this. I still think this was a bad movie, but I can least say that Bay did kind of improve.... kind of. I'm honestly more mad at people going on and on about like its the greatest thing that's ever been put on the screen and... you know what? Screw it, I'm going to watch as much Walking Dead as possible and wait patiently for Guardians of the Galaxy.

I thought John Goodman was one of the most enjoyable characters in the whole film. It was great to see Autobots with personality, and why not let one be over the top and whimsical? He was funny yet endearing, and he mingled action with comedy pretty well.
And for the record, there's nothing wrong with trench coat-wearing Transformers! Crosshairs looks awesome!!!

I thought it was the best movie of 2014.that and it made around 100 million on its opening weekend. Transformers 5 is obviously going to have quintessons or maybe unicorn? Or a Micheal Bay style redesign. Either way, I'm all for it 9.3/10
