No you don't need to be able to swim. There is quite a bit of water but you should be able to stand up in them all. Also, everyone else around you will be very supportive so i can 100% guarantee there will be someone there who has done it before that will help you through any obstacles you don't like and if you really don't want to do one, you can skip it, but always best to give them a try 😉 I would definitely say sign up and go for it. You will feel amazing at the end when you have conquered a fear 💪👊
No, i just take one battery. Yes, i just record at the start of each obstacle and film some of the in between sections as a kind of filler for the end video. I have the Hero 10 and find that the auto on/off feature is amazing for preserving battery too 👍 Are you thinking of taking a GoPro to Tough Mudder?
@@craigwatsonsportsnutrition Hopefully will be at the end of this month :) My number 1 worry was the power but I guess using the Quik Capture feature would help! Some people on Reddit have said keeping the chesty GoPro clean at Tough Mudder is difficult, did you have much trouble or was it just a quick wipe after each obstacle? Doesn't look to be any issues with your footage
@@CouldBeSaladFingers I used the head mount. My thinking was that any obstacles which involved crawling, lying on my back or climbing up something would just see the floor/wall/sky. Having it on my head meant i could easily hold it in my hand or give it to someone else to film as well. I didn't have any issues with keeping it clean. The Hero 10 has the hydrophobic lens so any water just runs off it and I didn't have any problems with mud on it either. I think with it being on my head it wasn't really coming into contact with too much mud. Which event are you doing?
Omg this gives me the absolute fear.....have been asked to do this but wow every fear in 15km... eek x
Don't worry, you be fine and you will love it! Everyone is so friendly and will support you all the way. I bet you will go back again next year 😂💪
Do you have to be able to swim for this?! I wanna do it but i cant swim and have an awfy fear of water and after watching that theres so much water 😂

Did you take multiple batteries or did you just record before you arrive at each obstacle mate?
