    Thanks for uploading this! Doing my first at the end of the month and was quite worried about how much i might have to skip but almost everything here looks at least attempt-able, and its great seeing how much you all helped each other and that people were deciding to skip on particular obstacled without it being a big deal. Really looking forward to it!

      Yes, you can do any obstacle you want and there's no stigma is skipping one if it's not for you. Howecer, as you noticed, it's all about teamwork and people will always help you through the obstacle - apart from Funky Monkey - that's all you!
      Glad the video was useful and I am sure you'll have a lot of fun at London South.

    I did the 10k yesterday but the extra obstacles on the 15k look awesome! I know which one I’ll be doing next year!

    • @WilChung
      @WilChung  Год назад +1

      not lways the case of getting good obstacles v extra amount of running - but I think this one was a fair swap! Next year, I believe it is just the 15km, no 10 or 5km

      You're welcome. I've done a few videos at South West. Quite a flattish course, so pretty fast compared to other courses. Hope you have a good time. Ill be there doing the 15km in the morning and I think I'm volunteering in the afternoon

    Are the miles broken up? Or is it a long stretch between each obstacle?

    • @WilChung
      @WilChung  11 месяцев назад +3

      Different for each course, but usually there's no more than say 1 mile between obstacles. Usually there's 1 / 2 Obstacles relatively close together, then a stretch of trail running. Towards the end though, there's 3/4 very close together which makes it more intense and spectator friendly!

    hiya mate, doing the 15k in yorkshire at the end of july - how much running is actually between each obstacle? with 30 obstacles in can't imagine its more than a few k's between obstacles right?

    • @WilChung
      @WilChung  Год назад

      Correct, at most about 2km. But mostly there's a bunch of running, a couple of obstacles, then more running. Yorkshire is odd as there's a huge hill, so will feel like a lot of running at one point as you make the ascent to the top. That is, of course if they haven't changed the route much. I'm pretty sure I've done a Yorkshire video, so go takea look.
