These are all very similar things that I am doing with my 3 year old daughter for homeschool. We started 6 weeks ago and wow have I seen an improvement. Just when I thought I was getting burnt out ( I'm pregnant right now ❤ ) .
She starts naming different letters in a store 😁. I almost cried I was so proud of her and thankful that the Lord has allowed me to do this 🙏 .
I noticed her attention span is a lot longer now. She was not able to sit down for 5 minutes before we started and now we take up to 45 min to an hour sometimes with her homeschool because it is all led by her she wants to keep learning and keep doing more activities . It has been a blessing to watch you and your family. I've learned so much from you Jady and for that I say Thank you and God bless sister 🙏

Jady, I'm so thankful you're posting more often. You're an inspiration to me both as an at home educator but as a mom. Your video on dealing with a difficult child was the best thing to happen for the relationship I have with my youngest child.
Please continue posting. Every video has taught me how to better myself as a mom.

I’m also interested to see more on how you taught all your young kids to sit still . I know it’s a slow process . Since I’ve been watching your videos , I’ve completely eliminated television . Thank you so much

Hi jady! Thanks for this wonderful info ! I was wondering could you please do a schedule video on how to fit all these things in through the day or the week ? When do you do the flash card drills the workbooks the shelf work etc .. do you do some on some days and somethings on others … if you could I would love a schedule video or a template so I can know how to stagger these things because my toddler gets frustrated when I try to do all these in a sitting

Hi Jady, I hope this comment reaches you as I know you are a very busy mom.
I would like to begin by first saying THANK YOU! Thank you for sharing your wisdom and experience with us. Coming from a broken home, I do not have a mentor or any guidance on how to be a better mom and home maker, but through your channel I have found that! I truly believe the holy spirit led me here.
You're videos have helped me solidify my decision in homeschooling. I plan to withdraw my children from public school before Christmas break this year. I have both a 5 year old kindergartener boy, and an 8 year old 3rd grade girl. They have both been taught in a bilingual school where all of the language arts are in Spanish. They are fluent speakers in both English and Spanish, but phonics, reading, and writing has all been taught in Spanish entirely. My daughter has naturally picked up on reading and writing in English although she has not directly been taught. I do love that they have a strong Spanish language foundation, but I don't want this to hurt them in properly learning reading and writing in English.
I would like to know what us your recommendation to finish off the school year, since we are beginning from zero. Would you continue an all Spanish language arts program and integrate more English into the following school year?
I have a few of your resources ready to go in my cart from "TeachesPayTeachers" that I plan on using with my son. He needs more practice on fine motor skills and kindergarten skills, and I know that your tools will be of great help!
Again, thank you for sharing with us! God bless you, your sweet family, and your ministry!

What about those moms who's husband refuses to stop giving the child electronics and TV 📺 as the babysitter ,instead of learning toys&activities ? To the point the child becomes very delayed because mom can only do so much (which is A LOT) when she is with him, but the dad just keeps allowing the child to stay addicted to the wrong things. 😕

    • @imjusthere6940
      @imjusthere6940 2 года назад

I personally hide electronics from my husband, even his own phone. Then I make suggestions of things him and the little can do. Sometimes I laugh at how much my husband enjoys the little activities and interacting with our little people.

    • @khadishamalcolm8018

It is hard when your partner isn't supporting the vision you have for screen time. My husband would sometimes give screens if he was feeling overwhelmed. He isn't the same as me to think of a craft or learning game. As a way to make this work in alignment with my teaching, I compiled some shows that were good for the kids. Baby Signing Time with Rachel Coleman (free videos on RUclips), Super Why! , Word World(Great shows for phonics on PBS kids video App). Number blocks on Netflix, great for math. Sometimes " if you can't beat them, join them " as they say. If screens are going to be on at least it is educational and won't cancel the hard work you are doing.

I understand exactly where you are coming from. I am homeschooling my 5 kids 7 years and under.
What I normally do is wake the older kids 1st and if I need to help them with their work I start with that. By the time my 3 year old and my 1 year old wake up I am then able to focus on teaching them individually.
I also prepare younger kids material in such a way that I can ask one of my older daughters to help by keeping the other child occupied by teaching them basic things like letter sounds or shapes or colours.
