I should have mentioned I’m a guy. I wanted to let you know that Rigd makes this neat hitch mount that eliminates all movement for offroad. That seconded to last one killed me “these pictures suck!” 😂 thanks for roasting me comedian four head 🎉
I just examined your rig and like the setup except for the tire size. I would recommend 275x70x17. Limiting your increased suspension lift to no more than 2 inches was a wise decision and will work great. If you off road your rig I would concentrate on under armor and a good set of step type rock sliders. I used to build off road rigs going all the way back to Mickey Thompson and Dick Cepek days.
Only thing about your 4 Runner you got to get some aftermarket headlights would make your 4Runner look so much sleeker and complete your build. I love the light bar on the bottom bumper going to do the same thing to mine for sure.
Keep in mind; that out in the U.S. States, we have crazy talented engineer fabricators that can fully build bullet-proof transmissions with sequential shifting for off-road racing. Not sure what Canadian's have for techs.
hahah I am Jack with the 4runner. that hood is long gone! preveous owner had it sitting forever and the hood is sunburnt... going to get a new basket soon tho haha
I forgot to click 'like' on the 1st go through. So I came back to smash it and not sure how I missed it the first time, but I heard the Canadian Forehead this time! 🤣🤣 Sad there was no 3rd gen submissions. I'll enter mine on the next Roast session
I don't think we can run the older trd beadlike wheels since they are 16s, and if you did the larger brake mod, they won't fit unfortunately... I should submit my 4th Gen
Tim you've got a really clean 4runner. It doesnt have pin striping, garage kept and looks clean all the time. That is the best color too. Totally disagree with the dark blue color. Its the worst.
I have the blue 4th gen. I’m only 18 the silver tundra is my dads😂. The wood flooring in the back is from home depot it’s just the vinyl wood and me and my dad cut it to fit in the back
lol you think OME is sub par to American and Canadian shocks, there is outback vehicles that have had the same OME shocks on their rigs for 15+ years without lost compression. Secondly no fear stickers is really showing your age. I’m right there with ya 👌
@@CanadianGearhead At 2:50 lol. EVERYTHING you said suggested OME is subpar to American and Canadian shock/suspension companies. If you weren’t suggesting that I’d like… actually I’d love to hear what you meant by that.
Here’s a roast for your 4th gen: you bought the cheapest, ugliest Methods money can buy. Should’ve just kept the stock wheels smh. 3/10 because of the wheels
Sorry but I’m going to have unsubscribe from your channel. I had the same 4Runner as you with 280,000 miles on it his name was Kev(it was on the license plate) but unfortunately last year I lost him due to Toyota frame cancer now every time you post a 4Runner video I get bummed out. Thanks for all the great videos though
Haha.I wish I could I live in the north east USA all of those generation of 4Runners are all going to need frame work I would have to go to the desert to find another one that’s not completely rusted out. We don’t have those oil coating service stations here or else I wouldn’t be out a 4Runner
@@Rn-qr8di damn, sorry to hear. I have a 03 4Runner I’m going to send a pic to the Canadian gear head. Hopefully I get a good rating lol. I’m pretty sure my frame is in good shape.. albeit it’s always on my mind.
can you go back and watch all my recent vids so i can feed my baby plz

We just replace the ATF with maple syrup and hope for the best
Dobinsons are still making snorkels for the 4th Gen 4Runners!
Awesome to see our 4Runners on here! We were “Jacks” friends! Thanks for sharing man
You've got some nice rigs!
@@CanadianGearhead always “a work in progress.” Should be looking pretty good around this time next year!
Safari snorkels makes a snorkel specifically for the 4th gen 4runner.

Haha it's always open to all gens, for some reason we have mostly 4th gens in the roasting pool
Haha yes! Love this series.
At some point I'm sure I'm going to anger the wrong person and get canceled haha
Mine is silver... but Id love to paint it or wrap it or something - what would you recommend

Your dad has good taste!
Making a list of all the things that annoy you to photoshop onto my 4Runner screenshots...episode 5 will be mine!
Haha oh man
Canadian Forehead?! Lol
Who knows more about lifting Toyotas?
>Hawaiians
no steel bumpers so a deer or people will happily disable your vehicle in a colllision...
Beat me to it

Where did I say they're subpar? I have OME springs on my own 4Runner. Great company!

I was simply pointing out that Australia isn't the only place with experience in lifting Toyotas.

Can’t you fix the frame if it’s getting corroded?
It was completely gone it would’ve needed a full frame replacement. I had a kid and fell behind on maintenance of the frame.
Buy another. Don't leave me
