I called the whole plot of the game in the first 2 hours but god damn did i tear up at the end.
The voice acting in the ending scene was amazing. You could feel the pain in their voices and made you feel bad for otto

Yep. Web blossom definitely saved me a few times during the game. Saved me some time when i went crime busting post story. Saw the developers say they were nerffing it in the next update or the one after and made me glad i got used to the other suit powers late to end game. Rip blossom.
Except for when more enemies spawn or it fails to pin any one down. Electric punches lets you attack any enemy and disable enemies nearby.
When the power is about to get nerfed before you even have the console. 😭😭
I'm glad I'm not the only one who exclusively uses Web Blossom

It's the best crowed control ability and can help in tight situations just doesn't give you invincibility frames when in my opinion is the only draw back as I have gotten killed from a shot in base missions

And me! My biggest problem is that I'm so used to the dodge / counter flash appearing over the enemy (from the Arkham series and Mordor games) that I keep missing it. Well, that and the auto lock-on being a bit finicky.
I thought I found a secret! Well at least I know there are more trash players like myself lol
Perfect way to get better at the combat is to use your gadgets. Remember, Spiderman isn't like Batman, he doesn't just knock everyone out, he resorts to webbing before anything else. Use the impact webs on the gunners/missile launchers, use trip mines for the brawlers, and web bombs for a cluster of enemies (helps if they're near a wall to stick too.). Then, just beat up the rest.
P.S.
The concussion wave gadget helps ALOT as well. It'll blow back alot of enemies. Upgrading your takedowns so you can do them back to back helps too.

The reveal of the Ock suit was perfect, I wasnt expecting a suit (even though it showed it on the papers) and the music WAS SO GOOD

Actually there were two versions. The first negative suit actually first appeared before mr. negative. Later mr.negative mind controlled him, making his suit colors reversed unlike the first negative suit which was white and black.
I thought its a suit from the Demons in the game. Its even has the same power effect when he use the suit ability.

Definitely did your research dude, but next time you should also say the year it came out as well. A lot of these high tech suits are over a decade old and I had no idea, so it would be good to know the year and how long these suits have been around. Other than that, your research is unmatched

I think thats the point, insomniac knows that once they so much as mention the name "otto octavius" everybody ever is gonna know where its going, so they purposefully tried to get the player attached to him so that they would want him to not become doc ock, thus making a much bigger impact when he inevitably does

The "Big Time" suit is called "Monster" suit in the german version. A refrence to the energy drink "Monster" which is green and black too.

I'd also like to say that the Spider-Punk suit (I like to call it the Spider-Dale or Spider-DL2 suit.)is my fav since It kinda fits what I like to wear. I usually prefer to wear a short sleeve button up opened along with a T-shirt (Or Tank Top depending the weather).

For the negative suit, you missed that Spider Man was brain washed by Mr. Negative at some point in the comics. Don’t blame you though, it’s relatively obscure.
Yoit'syabro that's irrelevant to the negative suit though.. as it was around before mr.negative was a thing.
@@Desolation66 the negative suit is based off how spider mans advanced suit looked if it was under the influence of Mr. Negatives powers. It is not the negative zone suit. Look at its suit power as an example. It released an explosion like the negative charged explosives used by the demons in the game.
The Negative version of Spider-Man in the comics doesn't look like that though. It has the Red and Blue areas of his suit reverse (like the old Web-Man created by Doctor Doom) but it also has inverted shadows like Mister Negative (areas that should be dark are like and vice-versa). The Negative Suit in the game is Black and White with inverted shadows (Like a Mister Negative Version of Spider-Man's advanced suit. And then, there's the original Negative Zone suit the one that is like classic Spidey with no webbing pattern and in black and white.
A lot of the suits look dope but I always found myself gravitating towards the Maguire suit no matter what because it reminds me of the original Raimi films especially during the cinimatic scenes

From what I've seen in this video, call me crazy but the damage on spiderman's (damaged) suit, looks like the same damaged areas on him from the Spiderman 2 movie.
Would make sense. There's tons of references to the movies in this game. One moment in particular references the part where he stops the train in Spider-Man 2.

Actually, I found Quad Damage suuuper useful. Helps mop up Combat Challenges super fast, and absolutely *SHREDS* bosses if you know which phase to unleash it.
this guy may adore web blossom, but my fave is definitely Spider-Bro. It lasts for a decent chunk of time, and makes taking out Sable outposts much much easier because it's constantly stunning/disabling those heavier-armed dudes, and it's useful for some boss/heavy enemy fights where they won't be knocked out by a one-time attack like Web Blossom.
Same, that's also my favorite! Or the EMP one, which is good for the Sable crimes

1:49 I agree, which is why I used it pretty much exclusively throughout the game. I knew there were other abilities that were kind of cool and I did try some early on before going back to it, but none come close to the incredible utility of being able to web up tons of enemies into the floors and walls of the surrounding area with a single attack which didn't take long to recharge. It's honestly a no-brainer for me.

I use Web Blossom in rooms (so the enemy sticks to the walls) the guitar power on rooftops, and quad damage on boss fights.
I used quad damage to take down bosses like tombstone quickly
But web blossom is still better...

I’m gonna come clean, half of the suits I know was because of Spider-Man -Runner- Unlimited. Which is how Last Stand became one of my favorites.

8:11 the suit power can also be used while swinging around New York. It helped me a lot during the bomb and drone challenges
4:01 not for long. They’re gonna nerf it. I’m glad cuz now people will actually try more abilities. Also quad damage is one of the most useful abilities in the game it’s perfect to clear a ton of enemies with it before fighting the rest.

I loved web blossom, I probably used it the most, until last stand. But, last stand is where it's at.

Spiderman Noir has to be both my favorite Spiderman, and my favorite suit, I fell in love with the character after my playthrough of Spiderman Shattered Dimensions (and even more after watching Into The Spider-Verse), and the suit's power in game was perfect for me because I loved that Stealthy Spider playstyle.
I'm glad this video came into my recommended. This is what that dogshit game informer video should have been.

You can play the game on Spectacular, use Web Blossom and still one shot enemies in a confined space. It just doesn't make the game fun if you're breezing through it using only one ability. They're gonna nerf it, like it or not

web blossom is only good for miscellaneous crimes that have a limited amount of enemies. Not hardly as powerful in any of the bases or boss fights.

Playing through Ultimate difficulty. It's here where you have to be careful about how you use Web Blossom, as it leaves you vulnerable to gunfire in one spot, which can take you out rather quickly.

Bruh don't shit all over my favourite Suit Power 😂. Blitz is an amazing Power, you just have to use it correctly. It doesn't just work when you run, but when you do normal combos, or web swing, or attack after dodging off of a surface.

It's all good. See; the power works the same as the Concussion Strike, except it has better AoE and damage. Great video, nonetheless. Very informative and concise.

Ben Reilly's tweak of the original Spidey suit (with the web cartridge gauntlets) when Peter retired is my all-time favorite. I wish it was in the game. Scarlet Spider is cool though.
