Great information! My renewal is on 9/30 @ $60 + no ad fees, and when I see prices like this it just makes me mad that they treat loyal long-term customers this way. I hardly watch it and I've canceled it before...

Appreciate the heads up. I'm pausing You Tube TV for the summer. Although I have NO interest in most of what is on NBC like the Olympics, I am a big Dateline fan which I DVR on YTTV and is also available on demand. For twenty bucks I can have the Dateline library available when I need a true crime fix. Kind funny really, I listen to the Dateline follow up podcasts and they are always plugging a podcast subscription which probably costs more than this.

@@MichaelSaves NBC has really made a make a rod for your own back with this pricing strategy no one in their right might would pay full price for this service, not because it's not a good service but just the fact that it can be had for a fraction of the advertised price. NBC could stop these offers, but these discounted offers have become synonymous with the service, and I doubt it would incentivize enough people to sign up and stop the massive churn.

@@joek468 No Joe, Last year I had gotten the Premium annual plan and the Plus annual plan for half off, when they had a deal going on. I had no intentions of renewing it at full price and planned on cancelling anyway.
But when this video came up on my feed, it was an opportunity too good to pass up. It just happened that my renewal date was next week.
So, I cancelled it and did the work around, that Michael suggested and used another email address to sign up.

@@joek468 No, I wasn't Joe. I had the Premium Annual Plan at half off. It was set to renew at $60 bucks. I cancelled the renewal and used a different email in order to get this new deal.

I have found you to always be upfront and honest and add no fake drama to increase views. Is there anything we can do to contact you tube to protest their unfair policies for people like you and Antenna Man?
I'm not sure of any way. I know some people are tweeting TeamRUclips and RUclipsLiaison, but they have not been helpful to me.

Thanks for the tip, Michael! I have a question for you. The ads that will show in the regular premium service, they're not as long as the regular commercial ads on TV, are they? I'm not talking for live sports but the other stuff. A lot of these shows they wait until the next day to put them on their service. So I was wondering if it was the same length of ads.
It’s less than regular TV and not that bad. I have the plan with ads.

@@MichaelSaves .. If I had to pay the $60 per month and it was no ads then I wouldn't have an issue with Peacock, but paying $40 more a year and still being stuck with ads it's like they're screwing over their base of supporters!

They have Yellowstone, Twisted Metal and movies like Oppenheimer. Not much besides sports including the upcoming olympics.

Peacock Premium has ads! Plus any service with live sports has ads. Peacock has been adding a ton of sports rights. That’s where they make the money back - serving ads to live sports viewers.

Hi, I just tried and it didn't work. Maybe they pulled the promo early?
This deal ended on 6/17/2024 per Peacock customer service. I did not get that promo code since I missed the deadline, and Peacock customer service confirmed that this has ended last week.

Well it does it doesn't give the $19.99 "deal" when you go to check out. Only gives the $59.99 yearly deal. I did put the promo code in and I get a green check mark but you I puts appy it does nothing but go back to the $59.99 yearly price. This is just a trap to trick people into the higher priced option. Scam alert!!!!!
