My 8yr old just watched this ep with me - she says she likes the pink shawl behind you and really loves the light over your head!! She’s working on her 1st knitting project (a shawl!) and thinks she wants to join us with WIP Wrap Up to finish it!! ❤
I can’t wait to check out your new crochet colorwork patterns! I’ve been wanting to try mosaic crochet and have a blanket project planned for the coming months. One of my 2024 goals was to learn Tunisian crochet - never happened, so Tunisian crochet is now a 2025 goal 😊
Sarah, I’m excited to join you as you start your new RUclips channel. You have lots of exciting ideas and projects. I have a question about that lovely cowl you wore in the vid. You talk about its “lovely twist,” but there is no twist in the pattern. Did you make it straight as in the pattern and then achieve the twist simply by how you wore it? Thank you, looking forward to future vids and patterns.
First time viewer here. I enjoyed your video! Before I can start anything new, I need to complete my many, many WIPS. It's out of control. I will see a pattern or stitch I think I like and start that project only to get bored with it or, because it's coming out uneven, I'll put it down.
I hear ya! That happens to me, too. I have a WIP Wrap Up event going on in my Facebook group and in an Instagram chat if you'd like some community and motivation to finish up some WIPs!
Your three middle suggestions are already on the top of my list! I’m dying to do the dragon scales from Sixel Designs. I have never done curved lines in mosaic crochet!
Borders have been a challenge for me ! Perfect!!
They definetly take a little practice.
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to you too!
So glad to run across your channel. I'm feeling inspired. By the way, I love independent dyers....and support them
I do too! It's amazing the creativity they bring to the fiber arts. So glad you're here!
Great content, girl!
Thanks so much!
New skills!
I love learning new skills!

That's amazing! She'll be making all the things soon!
Good morning Kim and everyone 🌅

Thanks so much for watching! The pattern includes instructions on how to start the cowl with a mobius twist. It's a really fun technique!

@SEKHandmade Thank you. I'll take a look.
Definitely mosaic wnd colorwork
I really need to give it a try too! So many gorgeous patterns!
I need to learn a granny stitch this year
My biggest tip is to put stitch markers in each corner. It makes see the pattern easier.

Oh yay! That's fantastic!
Sarah what is the name of the shawl/scarf you’re wearing while talking about the granny squares. it looks like hand dyed yarn mostly blue.
That's my Levana Shawl! Here's a link: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/levana-shawl
Oh good grief when I checked out the price of that yarn, I couldn’t believe how expensive it was.
It is more expensive because it's made in the US by a small business. But I understand that it's not in everyone's budget.
Starting a video like a tele sales woman… not my cup of tea.
That's ok!
