May be a bit cheesy but I absolutely love this classic from Barry Manilow - 4:08 for the hype
Karim Kamar
It’s not cheesy. It’s one of my favorite songs ever and you play beautifully ❤️
One of my favorites, too.
Karim Kamar ..just amazing.
Every single time I hear you play this its better and better
One of the BEST versions of Barry Manilow's classic rock pop songs on RUclips. Thanks for posting! Very well played. Fantastic technique.
Just to paint you a picture - I’m a grown ass man sat on his desk in work listening to this on repeat with a tear in his eye. Beautiful rendition buddy.
“… whats that …. Nah I’m cool … it’s just my desk fan making my eyes water …. “
💯💯💯💯 You are not alone I am also a grown ass man and it brings tears to my eyes. It feels good to know I'm not alone...
Barry manilow and his crew made the most beautiful pop song out of this amazing piece. A tribute to Chopin. .... Beautiful rendition, thank you for sharing this talented pianist
This is by far the greatest cover ive ever heared! Thank you very much!
David Osborne's arrangement is also brilliant.
Love how you can only see your hands and head..just a cool effect 👍
I have never been blessed to be one to read music. Both of my parents come from a family that has either played an instrument or were vocally taught. The one thing I have been gifted with was the voice to sing. As this is not an uncommon talent, when asked by people how I learned to sing was explained with the answer, I see it before I sing it. After watching you play that selection, I beheld the exact words I spoke my entire life. "I can see the music". I grew up in a church, New Hope Baptist Church, Nwk. Nj. There was an Organist named Nicholas Drinkard who never spoke above a whisper. Every person talked about how he never took a music lesson a day in his life. When ever I stepped up to the microphone to sing he saw me struggling with what ever song I was about to sing. The struggle was a direct result of what I heard from the director. I would look at him and he'd say" Rick, just sing, I'll find you. Make the song yours. What i took from that was there are people that can sing then there are those that sing.
I wonder if Barry has seen this himself....
You've inspired me to start playing.
This is such an accomplished undertaking. Love the arrangement, the composition aspects, the juxtaposing of pop with classical, the incredible emotion conveyed, the mad piano skills, the simple, haunting starkness of the video, the enormous arc of stillness into passion, then back to stillness, not to mention Karim’s gorgeous face! Just wow 🤩 😳 😯!!!
Every time I've ever played the Chopin, I sang Barry's lyrics in my head. Thanks for putting them together so very beautifully! 💕
Spirit move me
every time I"m near you
Whirling like a cyclone in my mind
Sweet Melissa,
angel of my life time,
Answer to all answers I can find
Baby I love you Come, come,
come into my arms
Let me know the wonder of all of you
Baby I want you,
now, now, now and hold on fast
Could this be the magic at last
Lady take me
hight upon a hillside
High up where the stallion meets the sun
I could love you,
build my world around you,
Never leave you till my life is done
Baby I love you Come, come,
come into my arms
Let me know the wonder of all of you
and baby I want you,
now, now, oh now, oh now and hold on fast
Could this be the magic at last
now could it be magic
Come, come on,come on
come oh come into my arms
Let me know the wonder of all of you
Baby I want you,
now, now, oh now,oh now and hold on fast
Could this be the magic at last.
Could it be magic
come, come on,come on,come,oh come into my arms
Let me know the wonder of all of you
Baby I want you,
now, now, oh now,oh now and hold on fast
Could this be the magic at last.
Could it be magic
come, come on,come on,come,oh come into my arms
Let me know the wonder of all of you
Baby I want you,
now, now, oh now,now oh now and hold on fast
Could this be the magic at last.
You touched my soul! Just can’t stop tears in my eyes. Fantastic arrangement 👏🎹
Beautifully played with depth of feeling, heart and soul. thankyou Karim!

This is absolutely beautiful. I can't stop listening to it. Your sensitivity to the anticipation of the releases is masterful. Is the sheet music to your version available anywhere?
I know it can be found and purchased on Musicnotes.
Well played, my friend!!!
Keep doing your thing. I'm new in this channel and I already loved what you're doing.
Great, not good, great rendition, and rendering. You obviously love both composers; tremendous. You hit bullseye after bullseye on this, musically speaking.
WONDERFUL. Thank you so much!

Dam...pretty good
Karim, im still finding d way play that song, and its hard just cos you playit beautifull, so, with my poor ear its heavy( canoot see the hands!!).. wonderfull!
Buenazo, me gustó ene amigo
Thanks for this video!!! I love this song, and my real name is 'Melissa" :)
Awesome...
Hermosa! Wow!
Dudes awesome😀
You can tell me, You're really Manilow in disguise or is it vice versa. Great video.
So, following the order in your title, I would think 'Could it be magic' is by Chopin and 'Prelude Cmin' by Barry Manilow :D
Nice performance as usual though :)
Epic!
I've watched this so many times. Nirvana. How do two hands do that ??
Barry said this is the first time when we met , in a concert.
Exelent👏👏👏👏👏
I stumbled upon this because I had a weird dream last night and this song was in my head when I woke up. I think the most interesting thing about the way you play this is that you hit every note at the end of the latest possible note.
Почему так мало лайков у такого прекрасного исполнения?
My brain is on 🔥 fire
Gotta re work my version
