And those list were long and distinguished made up of some of the most beautiful women in their time and in their prime. I wish they had asked her to play the role of Hippolyta in the new movie. It would have been a GREAT nod to her career as one of the most successful female super heroes of all time! I'm 54 now and I've had a crush on Lynda Carter ever since I was 10 years old in the 5th grade at Wiley Elementary School. After seeing the first episode of Wonder Woman, I can remember drawing numerous pictures of her at school with my crayons.
That was lovely, I watched Lynda as a kid in Wonder Woman, caught a glimpse of her in the WW1984 movie recently. What I didn’t know was that she was Miss USA and sang so beautifully. 👍🥂 I still fancy her ❤️

She is such a beautiful woman, inside and out. Pretty cool that she used all kids as her backup orchestra showcasing their talent to a TV audience. Linda and her husband went through some really nasty trying times in Washington D.C. and thank God her husband was proven innocent. It destroyed them finanically but they did recover to a degree and seem to be living a nice peaceful life these days. I'd love to get to know her as a friend, she seems quite genuine and down to earth.

Not all voices have to be ‘strong’. Todays female singers are all trying too hard and trying to belt out the music to show off. I miss the feminine voices such as Karen Carpenter and Joni Mitchell.

This is a difficult piece written by Barry Manilow, inspired by the Prelude in C Minor by Chopin. Lynda is obviously a fan of Barry's back in this early television special. She had come out of her hit TV series and was trying to still stay in the limelight and I give her credit for it. Her voice is lovely. This production looks like it was difficult to put together and to perform.
