Fabulous clip!!! Getting to See those gorgeous hands actually playing, stripped down version. Wonderful. Well done Barry. You are so humble, endearing, and gifted and witty to boot. You are loved Barry and we thank God for giving you your talent and sharing it with the world. Bless you and know you are loved.
The beautiful Prelude again. I rarely have time for this one, but I found it and wanted to listen to it. You do these so well when we can also watch your expansive hands play the piano so we can hear your Classical training and I love to watch this.......Betsy Blue-Eyes
Masterpiece....his Magnum Opus...bless you Barry 🦁🔱🌎
Or Chopin's! Prelude, Op. 28, No. 20
Fred would've been proud. A classical tune turned into a classic.
The GREATEST‼️
Simply Beautiful. Barry you are the best ❤️
Love the Prelude, and Manilow's adaptation.
This song is beautiful and with Barry singing it realy what more could you want he is the Ultimate singer and performer
Stolen? Barry makes this to his own! Nobody does it better! He is outstanding!
It’s not stolen. He did change notes in this song.. chopin’s no copyright.
The statute of limitations has run out, so he’s OK! ; )
He actually used the chords and turn it into his own masterpiece. Chopin DID get the credit for the track.
Simply beautiful :)
fabulous, absolutely love
Absolutely Superb!!! 🎶🔥💖
expert vocals, pianist and performer, and you have a great sense of humor, always loved your music, simply lovely love songs.
I think he made a funeral song into a very special artistic meaning. Great.. love this song..
Beautiful...
He is amazing...Seen him live many times over the last 20 years..his voice may not be the best techincally but he gets you with his magic when you see him live and the voice and music are phenomenal...if you can get to see him live while he is still performing..i could recommend it!
Bravo ❤️❤️
Bravo Barry ❤️❤️👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷
Before Manilow was a backup musician for Bette Midler, he was a famous / acclaimed jingle writer for TV commercials. His most famous jingle is probably McDonald's "You Deserve a Break Today". But he also did jingles for KFC, State Farm (Like a Good Neighbor), Trident gum, Bandaids (Stuck on Bandaids), Dr Pepper (So Misunderstood), Pepsi (Join the Pepsi People), and on and on. In the late 1970s after Mandy and other hits he would open his shows with the Jingles as he did for a show I saw in Portland OR in 1978.
So... he was the rare _sell-in._
he has humor..and play/sings very well :)
Great love song!
Superb!!!🎶🔥💖
He is a great pianist, I really liked this show, cause he probed he didn't need a whole band to sound great. Thanks for posting this.
Maravilhoso e excelente Barry ❤️❤️❤️
Awesome song..
essa musica é maravilhosa, tocada ao piano fica incrível.
só vc com seu talento.
Excelente Barry 👏👏💋💋
Awesome song!
Thanks XOXo saw you at the circle star in San Carlos with Al was so fanasyic
What ever age he would have - he will reach all centuries above our times !!! ! Especially in view of that songs. The Michael Jacksons; Madonnas; Robbie Williams; Anastacias; Beyonces; Del Rays or Adeles or other excessively screaming voices - can surely hide themselfes behind.\\
LINDO Como Sempre sua VOZ é VOCÊ. Venha logo aqui no Brasil fazer um SHOW EXUBERANTE para os BRASILEIROS. VAI SER UM. ACONTECIMENTO. MARAVILHOSO. Estamos te. ESPERANDO. RIO de JANEIRO BRASIL PAVUNA. FIQUEM com DEUS TODOS Aí. SUCESSO. SEMPRE
Two of our best singer's ever Streisand and Manilow from New York. So interesting
nice....
He looks good for 63 years old.
hes very gifted i think, im sure he colud suprise me anytime anywhere wuth anythin....le it go
Barry, we in Chicago miss you like family. Did you have to retire?
@musiclover77able Agreed, Patti LaBelle, Gloria Gayner, Tina Turner and other greats of their eras are truly great. Unlike many of todays squeaky voiced, out of tune posers.
@musiclover77able I agree, It's such a shame that her lifestyle and torrid relationship with Bobby Brown caused her to fall into the drugs and alcohol trap that has snared so many before and since. But it is important to remember that others have not had an easy life ( Tina Turner and Ike ), and didn't see the need to hide in a bottle. Still, Barry Manilow is an example to them all.
Not really a fan but this is superb !
What show is this from?
Unlike Whitney his voice is still fantastic, a truly gifted man.
"A buck is a buck!" HAHAHAHAHA. Barry remembers his poor starving musician days quite well, no doubt! :-)
Before I die, I want to learn to play that (not sing it as my voice scares cats)
Forced vocals as he aged. Don’t understand why he sang like this. Listen to the Midnight Special live performance of this song from 1975. It’s stunning.
Don`t you hear the screaming of a Madonna; or Del Ray or Willams. Screaming was never meant the same, as singing in clear tones.
poor chopin
Barry does not need to STOLE any chord.
Why are gay entertainers so attractive to middle age women like myself? Hahahaha! Its true though!. I would kill for 5 minutes alone with Freddie Mercury!
