Thank you for sharing your design. It’s so pretty. I’m new to quilting so I’m researching before I start my first project. Can I ask a question about starting point. I’ve seen some people say that you need to start stitching from the middle and work your way out. Does that apply to hand stitching projects, as well? Or is that only when you use a machine for stitching? Your approach makes sense to me (ie alternating rows to balance your work as you progress forward).
People start in the center and work out to minimize any fabric shifting. I've found as long as I baste really well, I haven't had any issues working from one side to another
